Use Prolink 9000G as Access point only

I recently fried a Prolink 9000G (lightning I presume - but it's being checked). I have a Prolink 8800P (old unit) which, i am thankful i didnt sell.

I would like to know if it would be possible to use the 9000G as a wireless access point only together with the 8800P. I know the wifi part is still working (as it shows up on the list of networks) - it's just the adsl that's not working (i think) because the light keeps blinking (as opposed to a steady green).

If this is possible, could anyone PLEASE let me know what i should do and what the settings for this set up would be.
