I observed that bikes tend to hold their value better compared against cars.

What is the depreciation (in %) like for bikes of different categories, and which type of bikes hold their value best?

Categories being kapchai, scooters, sports, touring and superbikes, over 1-5 yr range.

eCP39 - New PCB System

Recently the eCP39 online submission system has been introduced.

Please share your experiences with this new system.

My experience :

The UI is decently designed and easy enough to use, though it could use much less clicks to reach the end. At the end we are presented with a downloadable CP39 Form and a e-CP39 Data Verification form (this one containing a CIMB Acct No that you can pay to, which is apparently different at every submission of PCB).

I am just about to make the PCB payment via online bank transfer. Will update this post further.

I want to start a thread for discussion on workers / staff who generally quit school early and possess any limited skill / certification.

For example I frequently employ local staff for menial jobs like data entry and as warehouse/store labour in the Old Klang Road PJ area. The jobs are normal office hours 9am - 5.30pm so no OT.

My experience with Lesser Educated Workers (LES) have been 80% bad apples but I learn to work with it: LES starts out in good behaviour before becoming noticeably sluggish and take more prodding to get moving.

Among my other observations :

1. Inconsistent with coming to work - commitment issues
2. Bogged down by debt - blacklisted or about to be blacklisted
3. Frequent requesting for cash advance
4. Many come from dysfunctional and poor families, along with their network of friends

For the reasons above make them highly unmarketable, I suspect many of them can hardly hold a job.

I'm looking to get a couple of security cameras for my shoplot, mainly just to monitor the storage part. Hopefully this forum is the place to ask!

I'm thinking of getting those wire-free cameras (no cables, but require occasional charging) thought I'm rather new to this and would like to get some 2nd-opinions on this matter.

My few questions are :

1. What are the best and latest security cameras so far? My budget is RM80-200 per camera.

2. I'd like to be monitoring from my phone as well as computer, is that possible?

3. Do you recommend recording be stored in cloud storage or a HDD?

Now with the payment and submission of Forms all done online, how to handle the EPF and SOCSO cases?

Last time, we used to submit the forms manually where we can indicate employee termination/resignation. I can't find those options via the KWSP or PERKESO/SIP sites.

Can anyone share how they handle these cases now?
