Hi there i am stuck in between choosing lenses,well first off i am a person who likes to take portraits,candids,events and places which are poorly lit or in a more "universal term" low light conditions.And i am really stuck with two lens which are the Canon 17-40mm f/4 L USM VS Tamron 17-50 f/2.8 VC or Tamron 28-75 f/2.8 so i am kinda stuck with this is f/4 good under low light and is it really a everyday use lens or should i just go for low light tamron's or even some cheap sigma's for that matter like the Sigma 24-70 f/2.8.well you might be like of course the tamron cause it's f/2.8 but lemme just stop you there you gotta remember that the Canon is an L lens!! so the image quality and built is darn superb so this is what i'm stuck with an also if i go for the sigma 24-70 or the Tamron 24-70 on a x1.6 crop factor Canon EOS 60D body i don't think i can get much coverage at least with the Canon 17-40 or the Tamron 17-50 is wide enough to at least a decent group shot no??

HELLO EVERYBODY! i can't make up my mind weather to stick with my Canon 500D or Upgrade to Nikon D90,and if i did will it be worth it to jump to Nikon,does it have more benefit??and i love to do strobing work so that's why i wanna go for a Nikon D90 cheap and comes with CLS.or do you have any other recommendation??
