Unis teaching Verilog for digital design/VLSI?

Hi everyone,

As i understand, for digital design classes some teach VHDL, some teach Verilog (i think UTP teaches Verilog), and generally neither is taught very well (from my limited experience). It's a hardware description language! Not a programming language! Info and comments from current or previous electrical/electronics/computer engineering students would be helpful.

So which universities/colleges here teach VLSI/digital design using Verilog? And how extensively is it taught? What kind of projects are done?

-e.e
