Hi all, i own a Morrison 4040/40c guitar for a few years now. The guitar has a defect, in which a big crack near the bridge, and i never realize it before i bought it.
i patched it up by using epoxy and it so far so good. But now after 2-3 years the crack has propagate beyond the epoxy.

I m worried one day the crack grows so rapidly and the body might "explode" due to the tension from 6 strings

Since i bought this guitar below RM400, i don't think sending in for repair is good option?

I am thinking of replacing it, but how do i dispose it? any place where i can sell cheap cheap?

Even donating for charity a "broken guitar" might seems heartless

any advice?

Long story short, a guy aggressively wants to connect with you (friendship/business), convincing you he is rich. He will then receive urgent call stating need to pay contractor some money, went to bank but atm card got stuck, needs you to help and will pay ASAP. You borrow/gave it to him and that's it.

This guy and his "wife" (more like an escort) moved in to our hostel and stayed for almost a month. He aggressively calls me "brother" and ask me out for yum cha few times, and one day i decided to go with it. He buys you a meal, keep telling his "credbile story", bought a house waiting to move in, bought a shop, going to buy AUDI, work as sunway civil consultant, loves photography and good lens and ETC.. in the middle of the conversation, he receives urgent call on site problem, need to head there and solve.
-Clue 1: the phone never actually ring
-Clue 2: he talks about he love photography but have no knowledge on F-stop or lens

Drive me to Standard Chartered bank, and park somewhere beside. After few mins come back talking on phone pretending to scold the operator that he wants to remove all his savings, fixed deposit if the card cannot be taken out today. Then he will story his card being eaten, saying quite urgent and ask if have money to borrow first. I fell for it, thought it was urgent and borrow him some of my savings.
-Clue 3: If you are rich, you won't only have one ATM card

He then drive to site, parked somewhere nearby and said will pay to contractor while he moved away and i was in the car. Shud have just drove his car away
-Clue 4: Never actually saw him went to somewhere credible

He then keep thanking me, say got fate we met, will treat me nice food and all BS stuff, the next day he borrowed some again because the atm card need 1 day to clear and need some money for personal/work use by now.

It was then later night i went dinner with my housemate and chat, only then we realize he borrowed from both of us with same story but diff bank, thus i was sceptical while thought that maybe his another ATM got stuck for real.
-Super strong evidence 1:Same story for Me and housemate

Went back home, and keep thinking back the past day events for hints. His car was parked in our rented house in a way nobody can block his exit (he paid for the owner to reserve a parking as well), seems like preparing for an exit. I was sleepless that night, asking house owner in a way to get answer whether the guy is moving out by this month but nope, owner is not notified. Because the deposit for 2months is quite a big amount, i never thought leaving without it was a good idea ( although the sum he borrowed from us is enough to cover the loss)
-Clue 5: Car was parked to exit easily

Sleepless me ,woke at 230am and realize his car still outside. At 730am, poof, car was gone. His and her wife's shoe all gone, hanging shirt all gone. Left was his room, i called my house owner to check and see whether his stuff is all gone. There was list where our house kept car plate number and name (in case blocking car park) was gone too. Called him and he deny on din leave the house, saying i am ridiculous thinking the left the house, i reassure him i will report police if i did not get my money by noon.

By 10am my owner confirmed me that his stuff was all gone and it was a con. Owner was conned too for paying the deposit with bounced cheque. Phone is cant be reached anymore and asked owner to provide IC name and details. To my suprise, a simple google yield 2 results, a similiar case (just few days before mine) and star news on duping women.

Car Found scam?

My car (old proton saga) was stolen back in month September nearby Subang area, third party insurance which do not cover any theft. Without much to do, i only proceed to the nearest police station and report.

After that life just goes on until just after a month, a i received a letter from police notifying my parents that my car was found to be involved in 'hit and run', and needed to summon to Klang police station ( The hit and run is at Klang and around 2 weeks ago when i received the letter ). So i just proceed to Klang police station to report that " i have nothing to do with this accident"

So here comes the skeptical part , just yesterday, a fella called me saying that my car was in bad shape, found and towed to outside Klang Police Station. I felt something wasn't right as how some random guy had my number. Thinking it was "at Police Station" and called the police station without any useful info ( i do not have report reference that time ), i met with the guy at night time.

When i reach the Station, i saw my car and the guy right there. Distributor gone, battery gone, bumper had fallen, lights broken and messy interior.

He told me he saw my car was at roadside, and towed it back to his workshop, then to police station. He got my number through "sources". He said he was to handle this car, can fix my car and tow it back to his workshop. Because i am not willing to pay anymore after such loss, i asked if i can sell to him cheaply, he say yes, repair cost is bear by him if i decided to sell. Then sweet talk on leaving my car here overnight sure gone 2nd day, how my car was still nice and should sent for repair for RM2k which i am sure over priced. Then he asked for my photocopied documents (geran, ic and insurance) as a proof when towing my vehicle back. I negligently photocopied and handed to him, only then he said need a new report from police before he can tow

Then, here comes. He started explain me that need cost to tow my car here, the information cost, manpower cost and asked me to pay 1k. I told him i do not have enough money at the moment and can't pay him up. We got into argument with him keep repeating need pay, not letting me and my friend to leave. Until the moment i told him i din even ask u to tow why should i pay, he become aggressive and start yelling at me, say me so LC say this kind of words, kicking my car saying "now i kick your car, later is you only u know ! "

I got afraid for his aggressiveness and had to surrender by giving him Rm500 instead of 1k, and got my copied IC back. ( He still have my photocopied car geran and insurance but i thought it would not have any legal power ) Only then he "allow" us to leave and i told him i will let him know if i decide to sell my car to him or let him tow back for repairing.

It was a sleepless night and 2nd day, the guy very desperate call me whether he can tow away my car. I asked friends for suggestion, called the sergeant who handled my case on what should i do to tow the car away, and finally decided to ask my friend relative who had car workshop to tow my car to them instead. So i made a car found report as advised by the sergeant through phone ( public holiday ) and towed away my car to the workshop.

During the 2nd day, that guy keep calling me several times, and finally i answered and letting him know i would not want to deal with him anymore. Then he keep saying i owe him RM500 coz i only pay half, not enough cover. I told him i already paid you that much, what more you still want? He replied unhappily and hang up.

Still in progress and not sure what will happen next. Will need to meet Sergeant tomorrow for car found report, and maybe tell him about this.
