hi sifus,

i am going to install glass awning at my condo balcony, but due to it being strata title, my glass cannot extend beyond the beam edge.

My question is whether my frame will get rusty easily because of the rain water? Any potential solution to this?

or am i worrying too much unnecessarily?

Hi,

just wanna ask sifus here. I have been using my CRV for 7 years (5 driving years if minus out 2 years of lockdown), and it is serving me well so far. I am looking to upgrade to GLC 300 over the next 2 years, but it seems like GLC is having its last batch of petrol version, and future launches will be all PHEV. So i am wondering if i should bring forward my purchase since PHEV is of no use for me living in a condo.

Hi, the laptop battery for my HP Envy 13-D044TU has almost died. May i know how much if i want to replace it? Any recommended shops in lowyat plaza or i can easily buy from lazada to DIY?

Also, i m looking to upgrade my RAM as well, currently i check it is 2x 2GB Elpida 1600 Mhz. How to know if my laptop can support higher Mhz or just buy back the same 1600 Mhz?

Hi sifus,

recently i visited a few condos in mont kiara/dutamas areas as i plan to buy a unit for own stay. Due to the lack of budget (<800k), i have narrowed down my choices to the dutamas area which is fetching much lower price.

i am actually interested in a unit in menara duta 1, as the psf looks cheap since i m looking at 1300-1600sf condo. My concern is only on the age and maintenance of the building, anyone is aware of any issues with menara duta 1?

high resolution problem

Hi sifus,

i am having problems with some of the websites/programs/software with this high resolution thingy on my newly bought laptop. When i try to change the resolution to lower level, the problems just dont go away i.e. fonts/layout appearing too small that i have to strain my eyes to do my office works. is that a common problem for all?
