I have a 32" LCD TV, and just recently the screen has wrinkle on it and its getting more and more. I wonder:
-Shall send for fixing? How much would it be?
-Or just throw and buy new 42" ?

There two options:

1) volvos60, is a company car drive my relative. Confirm No major accident and very well maintain (like new). Mileage is only 90k. And cost rm73k

2) As for proton, is either inspira manual which cost rm79k or a full spec preve rm73k.

Which one is a better choice given this car will be driven for another 4-5 years?

Factor to consider is probably:
1:spare part cos?
2: resell value after another 4-5 years?
3: reliability(how often it breaks)

I and my hubby just bought a second hand altis a month ago before chinese new year. we were very much happy with the car because it is really the best car for money < RM50K.

Guess i was too happy with it until i lost a set of key with the remote. Now i need to make a copy. When i approach a shop in PJ, they say it may cost RM170 for a set or 700+ if i do not have the necessary detail. Is this true?

I currently have a key (to start the car), a remote device for lock+unlock, a piece of paper with bar code and another device to disable the immobilizer.

Do i have the enough information to make a copy? and does it really cost RM170 to RM700?

If anyone know a reliable shop in PJ/KL, please do recommend

Change TNB&Syabas Tariff

Dear investors,

Last year i bought a shop office (top floor) and renovated and rent out as a home stay. When i apply the Electric and water from TNB&Syabas, i did not specific what is the used of the unit. I think they assume it is going to be used as commercial.

This month, when i receive the first bill, i got a wooping RM214.15 electric bill and RM36 water bill. My tenant hardly use any electric because they just moved in 14 days ago. So here are my questions:

1) I notice that the tariff stated is for commercial. and the tariff for commercial is about double comparing to consumer tariff. Is it possible to change the tariff considering this unit is a shop office by nature?

2) For the electric, i notice the "bacaan" section, the actual unit used is only 39.43 from the meter, but the bill put in 500.00. What is going on? is this purely estimated?

Last weekend i and my husband went to a company call A2A about an investment on Land Banking. Very similar to Walton, and 80% of their staff are from Walton. They offer slightly faster exit of 4-5 years with estimated average 15% return annually, and is roughly 50% return (5 years later). Their Focus on Canada land, and is easily convertible according to them (compares to UK land that is hard to convert). each unit investment is about RM30k.

This company only here for two-to-three years and has no track record of success land title conversion. (they use walton's pass history as proof while they were working with walton)

They claim the company is going Berhad (where by all directors are liable if company go bankrupt). Still, i dont know how many asset those director is holding. who knows they declare bankrupt while all their asset are with their son/wife?

What do you all think? is it too high risk for a: cant see, cant touch, cant reach type of investment?

I gave up on looking for Satria. Recently saw Toyota Altis 1.6 only 46K. After test drive, it felt much better than most new car at that price range.

But not sure about maintenance.. what do you think?

Public advised to be wary of late night crash and rob cases

GEORGE TOWN: A car rental company has advised the public to be wary if their vehicles are rammed from behind by another vehicle late at night.

Kasina Baru (M) Sdn Bhd director Azhar Satar said one of the company's employees was attacked and robbed at the Sprint Highway in Kuala Lumpur when the latter got down from the van he was driving after a pick-up knocked into the vehicle.

“He was transferring the company van from Penang to our branch at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport when the incident occurred at about 11.15pm on Nov 10.

“The robbers hit and kicked him despite there being busy traffic at that time,” Azhar said, adding that the robbers drove away the RM50,000 van.

Victim Rosli Abdullah, 42, said the robbers also took his wallet containing RM500, his mobile phone and personal identification documents.

He lodged a police report at Damansara police station.

Azhar said he was highlighting the case to alert the public.

“Should anyone ram into your car late at night, do not get down from your vehicle to check on the damages but drive to the nearest police station,” he said at a press conference at his office at Jalan Sultan Azlan Shah in Bayan Lepas yesterday.

I went to check out the second hand car dealer @ Kepong MRR2 yesterday for Satria Neo 1.6M. The price is a wooping 46K!

It says accident free but my husband saw that engine chassis area (near headlights) have signs of accident because the screw doesnt fit well and bad paint job. Is this normal, that accident free means what?

And also the price.. rm46K? does anyone knows what is the second hand price?
