In the Friday episode of TMZ Live, Michael Bay spoke with the site about the casting of Mark Wahlberg in Transformers 4, Shia LaBeouf's anti-Transformers comments and dropped a few hints on the story of TF4.

The official fan website for pop singer Justin Bieber has to fork over a hefty fine after it was revealed that it illegally collected data on underage users.

To his millions of adoring fans, called Beliebers, the 18-year-old can do no wrong, but the Federal Trade Commission begs to differ, landing the company behind the official Justin Bieber fan club, which costs $99 a year, with a whopping fine of $1 million.

The issue centres on the website's tracking of users under the age of 13, which is a violation of the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act.

In fairness to Bieber, the company that operates his fan club is a separate entity and also operates the fan clubs for Rihanna, Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato, where it also illegally collected information on young users. The fine covers all of these websites.

The European Union recently brought in new laws that require websites to be transparent about their tracking cookies, and asking users for their consent, a model which might need to be adopted in other countries as online privacy becomes a growing concern.
