ABX Express - Terrible, Ridiculous, Intolerable

Just to share my experience and grudge for this courier service - ABX Express.

On 30/10, i need to send an original kastam document urgently from kota kinabalu, sabah to Shah Alam for amendment. I decided to go with ABX because is nearer to me and have been using their service within east malaysia, besides slight delay once a while, they have been reasonable, so expected the same this time too.

Checking online shows shipment reached PJ the next day and out for delivery the same day at 8 something morning. But it was never received that day, called the CS said delivery guy was there but couldnt find address ( company address at bukit jelutong industrial park) asked them y didnt call recipient to verify, they say not sure, (WTF?) and i told him is urgent documents, they say ok will deliver tomorrow.

1/11 again not delivered, called again they say yesterday the delivery guy never return the documents to office so dont know where ia it now. (How the hack they can give answer like thatl) they say unable to contact the delivery guy. And will try again and call me back. Never call.back for one hour. Called again , they say delivery guy stucked at KL area so not possible to deliver today (WTF Dont KL area has their own branch and delivery guys? Although i dont stay in west malaysia but it doesnt take a genius to realise the traffic condition and the possibility of a same guy handling delivery in KL area and Jelutong. So i started to think all these are excuses) Told them it is really urgent and needed to be received by friday 3/11 (which is today) because recipient not working on saturday and documents need to be presented to kastam on monday! The CS said the branch manager has personally instructed the delivery team to give my documents first priority and first thing to be delivered tomorrow morning and will definitely received before 10am next day. (Ok, feeling much better)

Today, 2/11... checked online stated items out for delivery 8 something, ok good. 11am, nothing arrived, started to get mad (has been calm and polite all the while), called CS, still keep myself calm but question them in more serious manner, the CS handling my case not in, i have to repeat the whole story again to different CS, say will check for me and call me back. Never calls, called again 1pm, the previous CS still not in and the one i talked with 11am also not around. Explained whole case again, and ask why never call back, the new CS say the one i spoke with went for sembayang, (so? i called 11am, so hard to just call the delivery guy and call.me back?) She say will check for me, i say i will hold the call, no more waiting for calls that will never come, after 5 mins on hold, she say unable to contact delivery guy, maybe sembayang, will call me back later (...........) AGAIN never call back after 2 hours. Called again, ask for the CS, ask her why never call back, ignored my question, say contacted delivery guy will definitely deliver before 5.30pm, but recipient office closing 5pm sharp. So i ask for the delivery guy number so the recipient could call to check if not delivered near 5pm. She says is policy does not allow, (So your company policies allowed giving bad promises, not returning calls, rude behaviours, delivery guy dont call to verify, and missing, or dont return things not delivered to office?

And Now!!! 5.30pm, not received still, called again!!! CS delivery guy was there but couldnt find address (again???) so is back to.office (WTF!?!?) Ask why dont call recipient again???? Here comes the best joke of the years..... Delivery guy's phone no credit!!! (Please kill me!!l What kind of shit reason is that? Ask why cant use public phone or borrow phone? so many offices there. Here comes second best joke of the year... That guy is new, he didnt know what to do. (@*+-=/#) now iknow it takes alot of delivery experience to know how to borrow phones or ask people around for clarification...

So whats next? CS: I promise item will be delivered by monday morning.... (Haiz... back to the square again)

Conclusion: I used an express courier service and is not delivered for5 days now. Still going... every time i call have to listen to music at least 5 - 10 mins, and yet my problem nvr solved. Is it all my fault to suffer all these? and now the challengecome, can it really be delivered by monday morning and pass it to kastam on time? or is it lost? they once said they couldnt locate the item, and keep on tracing... wish meluck everyone.

Please help - how to remove painted car sticker

Does anyone know any way to remove a car sticker which has paint over it? I want to remove my car original stickers, but just found on the sticker on my right hand side was painted over (had a paint job done previously because the car being bumped into, and i suppose the clever paintshop guy did not remove the sticker but just sprayed a layer of aryclic paint (the transparent one after u painted the car color to make it shine and to protect). Is there any way i can remove the paint on top of the sticker and then the sticker without breaking the paint underneath?

What amp should i use for my sub?

My sub is as below, and what is the amp for it? I have a 4x100wrms amp that i will be connecting 2 channels to the comp. set, and thinking of bridging the remaining two for the sub, is it ok?

•Frequency Response: 30 Hz - 3.5 kHz
•Sensitivity: 85 +/- 2dB
•Voice Coil Diameter: 38mm KAPTON

What determine the real power of sub?

I am abit confused of the real power of subs, hope some sifus can answer giving the scenario as below:

1) I have a sub with 300 watts peak power/150 rms, is it true that if i have a 150 rms amp means i am giving enough power the sub need to perform at its best? Is it true that if i have use it with a 100 rms amp means i am underpowering the sub? and if i am using a 200 rms amp means i am overpowering the sub? I heard both could damage the sub?

2) I have a not so famous brand of sub with 300 watts peak/150 rms, and my friend has a famous brand of sub also with 300 watts peak/150rms, does it means my sub will not be as loud as his if we use the same HU and AMP?

3) I have a 300 watts peak/ 150 rms sub i power it with a 4x100rms amp (front 2 for component set and bridged the remaining 2 for my sub), and my friend who has a same sub but he uses it with a 300rms monoblock. Does it means my sub will produce less bumping power than his? If yes, y so? As i thought the sub rms is 150, and i bridged 2 100rms for it, it should be produce 200 rms for the 150 rms sub right? and my friend is giving it 300 rms while the sub actually only need 150 rms? I know my sub might produce less in terms of spl, but other time should be the same isnt?

According to the information above, do you guys think the amplifier is sufficient for running the component set and sub? Will the speakers and sub underpowered? or will they overworked or overheat the amp? I don need being heard from blocks away, but i do like to feel some decent vibration or probably some kicks when i am mad stucking/falling asleep in a traffic. I don just wanna listen to what the car audio shop promoter said as they would always like u to pay more than what you really need. Some of them ask me to buy another 1000-1400 watt monoblock to run the sub. Is it really necessary? Would really appreciate your opinions and comments! Thanks!

How do you protect your glossy screen frame?

Hi guys, i have just purchased ASUS A42Jv few days ago, i like everything of it but the glossy piano surface like screen frame. It look classy and nice, but i had bad experience from my previous ASUS N50Vn which has the same type of screen frame, it can be easily scratched from any cleaning. No matter what kind of high quality cloth you use, it would still scratch it when u wipe it. So i have no choice but to keep the orginal plastic on until i find a solution, but i know it wont last long, cos these plastic would soon gather dust and scratch it still. Anyone has a good idea of preventing scratches? Thanks!

Unable to fully remove program from W7

Hi guys, i have recently installed a chinese version of PES 10 and decided to remove it and did it through add/remove programs at control panel. But it appears that it couldnt be fully deleted and it stills appear on the list at add/remove programs. When i try to uninstall it again it says "invalid uninstall control file: C:/pes 2010 WECN/uninstall/uninstall.xml" i have tried to uninstall using REVO uninstalled pro, but it still appears, i wanted to use "Force uninstall" but it requires the path/directory of the program which no longer exist.

Is there any other way i can fully remove it? Thanks!

NVDIA GT335M VS GT9650M

Hi guys, i have just sold my old Laptop ASUS N50VN and bought a new ASUS A42JV. My old laptop has a GT9650M and the new one has a GT335M, which i believe the later one should be slightly better compare to the old GT9650M but when i tried to play MW2 at the default graphic settings, my new A42JV seems to get some lagging, but my old laptop with GT9650M had no such problem, game were smooth and nice. I wonder why, and hope lowyat's sifus can give me some idea. I am suspecting it could the RAMs and my previous N50VN has 4GB DDR2 and the new one only 2GB DDR3 (Processor is Core 2 Duo P8600 VS i5 450) I have tried DiRT 2 but the new laptop appears fine and graphic is smooth... i never try playing DiRT 2 with my old Asus though.

Asus A42JV graphic card problem

Hi guys, I just purchased a Asus 42JV laptop. It has two graphic catds, one integrated and another is nvdia GT335M. I try to switch the graphic to NVIDIAwhen I want to play games but when I run games it keep saying my graphic does not meet the minimum requirements. I have tried every possible ways and even the dealer din know how to fix it. Please help, it is obvious that the laptop keep using the integrated graphic rather than NVIDIA even switching manually doesn't help.

How to delete accidentally saved words in dict?

Hi i am using HTC desire and i would like to know how can i delete accidentally save word in dict? like when i should be typing "like" but accidentally typed and save "lict" in dictionary? I have browse through the forum and net for solution, following are some of the solution i found, but do not work on my case:

1) From Home:
Press Menu
Select settings
Select applications
Select manage applications
Select touch input (i can't find this option)
Select clear data.

2) when typing, long press the microphone symbol (i dont have), or the "screw" like symbol to get to touch input setting manual and click user manual to delete (all i got is handwritting, pinyin, stroke and touch input chinese, none of them have user manual!)

Mine is an AP set, not sure whether this make any diff, anyone else have the same prob? or solved? Thanks!

Hi, i have had my desire for almost 2 months now, everything was fine until recently i when i found myself unable to send mms (receiving is fine). I have followed the settings from Digi and also made some adjustments according to what i found on net, which including putting "Default" for APN type on DiGi Internet and mms on Digi MMS, but still no luck. Anyone who has the problem? or had but fixed? Please share...

Hi guys, my new HTC desire are able to read chinese and type chinese, but the music player cant view any of the chinese words that show properly as a file. i downloaded mp3tag trying to change the tag to unicode (thats what people on the net say would work) but i am not sure how to do it, anyone know how to? or any other easier way? New Dell Laptop Problem

Hi guys, wondering anyone of you have experience like that? I just bought a new dell inspiron 14R from local dell authorised dealer few days ago, and i only got the chance to really sit down and play with the laptop yesteryday, after using for about an hour, the lcd started to flicker, means the light going bright and dark, keep blinking... at first i thought was graphic problem, but i followed instructions from net saying to plug it to a monitor and observe, and only the laptop lcd is flickering but the monitor is just fine. Which means is not graphic card or windows problem, if i am not wrong. Then i recover it back to factory mode, it works fine then, without installing anything, i went to shower and came back found out it is in sleep mode, when i press the power button to bring it back on, the screen starts flickering again! I called the seller and he ask me bring it back and they will call the dell support line for me. But i am wondering is it possible to ask dell to change a new one for me? Since it is newly bought?

Hi guys, i have just purchased my HTC Desire for 1 day, there are a few things (which i shouldnt have called it problems) i would like to know about.
1) I have set a nice live wallpaper to use, but it only last for while, until a "beep" sound, it would change back to non "live" wallpaper, tried a few other live wallpaper, ended up the same.
2) Again is the "beep" sound, i always hear my phone "beep" (notification sound) and when i check my phone, there is nothing new there.

Does anyone have incident like above before? I am suspecting the task manager (kill unsed application once awhile) which might be causing it...

One of the DVD-ROM not work! Please Help!

Hi guys, i have just purchased a new clone pc 2 days ago, because i use it for my part time dvd burning job (for wedding function and etc) i have 2 LG DVD RW roms for my new pc, yesterday when i start to burn with it, they work fine (both dvd rom burning together) but after a few, the lower deck dvd rom would not function properly, it always burn until 70-80% and stop functioning, and the drive would disappear in my computer leaving only the upper deck working and appeared. I have tried restart/ shut down for few mins and try again, but it always showep up at the beginning and gone half way burning, i have also tried to let it work alone (not using the 'fine' dvdrom) but the problem still presist, and i used them to burn the same data and video, the upper deck would not have any problem, only the lower one. PLEASE HELP!

*I have search online and know there is a way by deleting "upperfilter" and "lowerfilter" under {4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}, but the thing is, i see not just one folder, but many with the exact name of {4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}, some of them have the upperfilter in it and some dont, so which one do i delete?

I have got myself into quite some trouble yesterday, i was loading a few applications (9 actually) all at once. As you can imagine, the phone restarted automatically after finished loading applications. At first the bb storm 2 was loading with blackscreen and white bar as usual, when it finally starts up the os, DANG! All the applications are asking for permissions, and you can imagine all 9 applications loading together, the phone freezed like hell, wont response even after hours of wait, tried to pull battery more than 10 times but it still went to the same end. I was fed up and it was 3am in the morning, almost throw it on the floor as tried everywhere i can find online. Then one word come to my mind, "safe mode" as i think of windows os, then i search the word safe mode on blackberry.... good news, there really is safe mode for bb os 4.6 and up, bad news is, you have to pull of battery and put in, once light one, press and hold the "BACK" key! As you all know, all blackberries "Back/Escape" buttons are actual "Buttons" and it is not for 9520/9550! Ours are Touch screen, it wont click when the red light on and before loading os!!!! Was fed up again, and couldnt search any resolution, and it was 4am by then!! After trying for many times, finally i found out how!

1) Pull off battery and put in
2) Dont bother press and hold back/escape button when the red lights on
3) When OS Loading until half way, your screen and buttons start to be responsive, press and hold the back/escape button
4) Wait until OS Finished loading, you will find yourself in safe mode, you will know when you found yourself in the default theme of storm2 and a welcome dialogue telling you that you are in safe mode
5) now, press ok and take your time to delete those hateful applications which freeze you (those you just loaded) or do what ever you want to avoid freezing.
6) Once done, hard reset it (battery pull)
7) Once OS loaded, you will find yourself still in default theme, but no welcome dialogue telling that you are in safe mode, then you are in your normal OS, all you have to do is just activate you desired theme.
8) And now... learn from you mistake, load 1-2 applications each time to avoid same problem again!

It is a Long Article, but please understand that i have went through a hell long night, and i really hope noone will have to go through it again like me, so i decided to post it up and share with you guys! Have a good day!
