Legalize Reno Done By Prev-Owner (MPSJ)

Recently I bought a renovated intermediate double story house less than 1000sf at Subang Jaya.
The previous owner has done some normal extension in the kitchen and living room.

As far as I know the previous owner has not obtained the approval from MPSJ for the extension.
Therefore I need some advises as below:

1. What is the standard costing to get the approved plan (Drawing, Approval, CCC).
2. Will I get summon for the renovation? As it was done by the previous owner.
3. Do I need to inform MPSJ that the house has been renovated or I shall submit as is I am going to renovate the house?
4. Can I get the original plan from MPSJ? What is the costing required?

Staircase For Compact Double Storey

Hi All,

I personally never involved with any renovation project as this is my first house.
It is a compact double storey house WITHOUT a staircase.

This is due to the previous owner combined two houses and remove the staircase from the unit that I am interested.
Therefore now i need some advise on the staircase layout and cost for this renovation.

I have 2 main concerns is that if possible not to utilize more space and if possible and less cost.

Therefore if any of you had experience on installing new staircase to a house, please share with me as it will helps a lot.

Car Amplifier Wattage RMS/PEAK Questions

Hi all,

I am trying understand the common specifications for amplifier and speaker.
Here is the problem, i have a old 4ch amplifier and a Dual Voice Coil Subwoofer but not sure if it can be hook it up.
Understand that manufacturer often claim a higher peak wattage but in fact it misleading.

Sub-woofer specification:
400w RMS/Nominal
800w Peak/Max
4 ohm

Amplifier specification:
1200x4 watt (Printed on the amp)

* Due to the amp was not an well known brand, tried to search on the web but could not find the complete specification.

So here is my questions:
1. The sub-woofer 400w RMS refer to each coil or both coil?
2. Will it damage my DVC if i just connect one of it?
3. Amp 1200x4 Watt mean each channel will support 1200? or divided to 4ch with 300 peak each ch?
4. How can i get the RMS specification for my amplifier? e.g. using multi-meter?

Hope some1 able to enlighten me...

Asus Eee PC 1025CH Interesting Problem

Hi All,

Not sure if anyone encountered such problem in their netbook or notebook.
Here is the problem.

The Asus Eee PC only able to work correctly when both power adapter and battery is inserted into the netbook.
Interesting finding as below:
1. Turn on with adapter WITHOUT battery, around 5 seconds it will switch off automatically.
2. Turn on with both adapter and battery, windows 7 battery icon show unknown.
3. Windows power options detect as NO adapter even adapter and battery is attached.

Need advice...

Lost My Iphone 5 Without Find My Phone enabled...

Hi All,

I just lost my Iphone 5 16GB this morning at petrol station, running on iOS 9.2.
As far as i remember i did not enable the "Find My Phone" feature but at least it is Passcode locked.

Just wondering even if it passcode locked, can they factory reset the phone and continue use the phone?
Any others way to remote lock it and erase?

Please advice.
