Hi everyone!

Just wondering if anyone has any idea on how to enable memory mapping on this mobo's bios? I cant seem to find the option. I'm having this problem where i have 2 x 2gb of ram installed, it's recognized in bios menu -- it shows 4gb installed, but only 2gb enabled. So when i start up my computer it only shows 2gb..

Im using win7 ultimate, so in window's resource monitor and system info - only 2gb is being used and another 2gb is reserved for hardware. I've been looking online and have tried the advanced option in msconfig boot tab to untick maximum memory etc.. rams are all fine individually.. so really out of idea before i send this pc back to c-zone for them to check it..

Any help out there is appreciated.

Recover data from hard disk

Hi guys!

Would appreciate if someone out there who knows how to recover data from my hard disk. When i boot up - the hard disk cannot be detected and it's making a clicking sound. Any way to bring to a shop and they can extract the data? Can anyone out there recommend me a location in PJ?

upgrading my rig, need advise on mobo+ram

Hiya all,

I'm interested to upgrade my pc which is a Q6600, Asus P5K-SE, 2gb kingston value ram and 2900XT, mainly the mobo and ram to OC my processor. ( i also have a mushkin 580w psu)

My Q6600 is a 65nm kentsfield revision B3 (based on CPU-Z) which im not sure will overclock well but i'm not looking for some super o/c but maybe a 3.0ghz? I'm not too familiar nor have the time to research oc-ing which means i'll be bringing to a shop and get some help from the people there.

Moderno recommended a Biostar Tpower I45 which i've looked online and it seems like a good board. As for RAM i suppose any brand will do ? like TEAM or GSkill or those corsair pairs. (I will get a brand new 2x2gb to go with the mobo) not really particular about the cas timings as i'm not really gonna go into those coz not familiar.

I'll need a good recommendation combo of Mobo+RAM to do simple oc-ing. I was actually going for the gigabyte P35-ds3r thingy because i read on techreport's hardware guide. The budget for the mobo at RM525 for the biostar seems ok i suppose, just wanted some opinion if it's an ok purchase.

Anyone here has any experience using Skype Phone from Linksys? The CIT200 skype phone... link here -> Linksys skype phone review

Or any other VOIP services where if both parties have it, it'll be free unlimited calls, just gotta pay subscription. One of them is Zebra VOIP that is just launched, but i'm not sure if it's any reliable or good.

Im looking for one so that i can talk with my friend in thailand.. would really appreciate it if anyone has any experiences with these VOIP. Im leaning towards skype phone but it'll mean both side has to have the phone because im not a big fan of talking for too long in front of the computer~
