How to install windows XP on SATA hard drive?

HI guys i've got a brand new pc with a new hard drive. It's SATA. I'm having problems installing windows XP on this hard drive. Apparently we need a floppy disc to aid in the installation? however i do not have this.

Anyway, i've set my boot priorities to cd-rom, followed by HDD.
when i on the comp and insert the XP cd , the installation screen (blue screen) comes out and loads

if I,

a) dont press f6,
a blue screen of death will appear.

b)press f6
i'm given 2 options, one is to press S a.k.a to add a specified driver or something like that related to that floppy disc
or press enter which continues into "i dont know what happens next"

other settings on my BIOS :
storage configuration is set at AHCI

someone told me to change that storage settings to IDE? or RAID? which will not require me to press f6 at all? please help me on this not sure.

I have heard of getting nLite and doing a slipstream(?) thingy, but i would like to consider that as a last option.

Hi guys, I'm a newbie at overclocking.
Lately I've found a software on my comp that's called "Gamer HUD Lite" .
I'm interested in utilizing this program.

I have a Gigabyte Geforce 9400gt
WIll there be any possibility of overclocking my graphics card till it surpasses the power of a 9500gt?

However, I'm really new at this.
If possibile, could any of you explain how will overclocking improve my gaming experience (etc. smoother or better graphic quality?? :s)
Or, link any threads that could answer my question, (I have tried reading the newbies thread but I haven't any clue of all the terms and where to begin etc etc).
