Meter problem

guys, question. any idea why my LC meter getting heavier n heavier? last week i noticed my kapchai meter shows 70kmh speed for the same speed i was riding the week before. this week shows 60kmh. why ah? anybody faced this problem before?

today i checked distance was travelling. compared to roadside mileage marker against my odometer. roadside markers show 1km, but my odometer only clocked 700m.

Geng Basikal Buat Hal, Tinggalkan Kereta Sesuka Hati Menyusahkan Penduduk

Boleh dikatakan sekarang hobi berbasikal semakin menjadi trend di kalangan rakyat Malaysia. Bukan sahaja aktiviti yang sihat malah ianya sangat menyerokokkan apabila dilakukan secara berkumpulan.

Di sekitar Kuala Lumpur ada beberapa kawasan yang menjadi tumpuan untuk geng basikal ini. Malah, ada kawasan yang mempunyai latar belakang pemandangan yang indah serta cantik untuk bergambar.

Bagaimanapun, baru-baru ini ada cerita tak sedap didengar mengenai sikap segelintir geng basikal yang mementingkan diri sehingga menyusahkan penduduk kawasan setempat.

Seperti yang dikongsikan oleh akaun Twitter Asal Gombak ini, dimana ada segelintir geng basikal meninggalkan kereta mereka di perkarangan Hospital Orang Asli Gombak.

Tindakan tersebut sekaligus menyukarkan pemandu Bas Rapid KL untuk berhenti bagi mengambil dan menurunkan penumpang hospital. Malah, ada yang terpaksa meletakkan bas di bahu jalan sehingga menggangu pengguna jalan raya.

Garden Termites problem

hi. has anybody faced garden termites problem?
is there a baiting system for garden termites?
i've contacted one of those big name pest controllers.
no baiting.

i've used pesticide for termites before this by pouring it on the ground as suggested, but i think the colony just moved to nearby trees.

asking here to know about your experience solving this issue. how it was done and did it provide permanent solution?

Another alleged incident happened when one of the students accidentally broke a game board.

The owner, who is a senior student, gave the victim the choice of paying for the damage or performing a sexual act on him.

Perak Islamic Affairs Department (JAIPk) director Datuk Mohd Yusop Husin said the department’s officers have interviewed several students in connection with the allegations.

He added although the learning centre was registered with JAIP, it is a privately-run institution.

A friend's brother has gone missing since friday 13 may. Police report has been lodged. Please bring him to a nearby police station if you found him. His roommate has been found today around sogo area.

Last seen in kemeja n slacks. Colour unknown.
He has a mental capacity of a 3 year old. So it's important if u found him, tell him u r abg ady's friend so he'd listen to u.

I'm trying to find reference in Suruhanjaya Tenaga Guidelines stating that instantaneous water heater must have its own circuit, without sharing with another power outlet/circuit/breaker or tapping from another circuit

I've found this in Guidelines for Electrical Wiring in Residential Building 2008

page 25

Electric water heaters is divided into 2 types, namely instantaneous water heaters and stored water heaters (storage tank type)
a) Instantaneous water heaters shall be equipped with a 2 pole control switch and its own residual current device. Storage water heaters (storage tank type) shall be installed with an isolator and its own residual current device; and
b) Water heaters exceeding 3kW shall be permanently connected to a 20A/30A rated circuit breaker/fuse with an isolator switch and residual current device.

is this the right clause? this clause tells it is mandatory for heater to have its own circuit?

Did my monthly shopping today at Giant Seri Kembangan. Bought stuff close to RM600. Two of the items bought were Listerine Coolmint 750ml and Mr Muscle Toilet Cleaner 500ml (buy 2 free 1). Displayed price on the shelves were RM13.99 (Listerine) and RM10.99 (Mr Muscle) respectively. At the checkout, they billed me RM20.89 (Listerine) and RM11.99 (Mr Muscle). I caught them on the Listerine, so they deducted the difference from the total amount. I only noticed about the Mr Muscle after I went back in to check on the price. I know Giant's refund process is troublesome, so I just left. Wife's not feeling well (dizzy due to pregnancy). I wonder what else have I overlooked or got cheated by Giant.

spectacle lens cracked due to heat

i had a pair of glasses, brand Hoya (don't know which model) with transition coating. the price (lenses only) was rm5xx. yesterday, i left my glasses in my car, parked under my front porch. part of my car was in the sun, so i guess it heated up the car cabin.

it was about 1 hour. when i got back in my car, i found tiny cracks in the lenses. i guess they couldn't stand even a little heat.

is this normal?

can anybody recommends good and durable lenses, which can stand heat?

Seeking advise on lighting

Dear sifus,

i am clueless about arranging the lighting in my new home. this is my first ever house, so i have zero experience. my concern is whether lighting is sufficiently bright, no strobe/shadow from the ceiling fans, and optimum layout.

i have no idea what size of lighting fixture i should use.

i'm going to use warm white for all downlights, except in the kitchen. i won't be using wall lights except at the family area on 1st floor.

i don't have a 3D software or lighting simulator to check the optimum lighting arrangement. however i've made sketches using CAD tool. my reference are
