Advice/Suggestions Needed

Something happened last week and suddenly there's no display on my monitor.

Tested my monitor with other PCs and laptops, working perfectly fine.

At first I thought it was my graphics card but sad to say when I tried it with another graphics card, it did not work either.

Is there a way I can identify which part of the PC needs replacing? PC boots up perfectly fine, LEDs on CPU lighted.

Could it be my PCI-E slot?

Is there a software to detect unreadable/unwritable CD media?

A friend of mine gave me a lot of unused CDs.Physically they don't look usable.

My Celcom 3G gets disconnected very often at night.

Anyone having the same problem? Is there a way to minimize this?

Just got my Celcom HP 3G notebook.

Currently testing it in the outskirts of Malacca.GPRS signal shows 4 bars.
However the connected speed is only 53.6Kbps

Is it supposed to be THIS slow? Very dissapointed.

Going to try out in other locations in Malacca town after this.

Feedback anyone?

i m unable to bootup from my hard disk.bios stops at memory test

when i feel the harddisk, its hot.

does this mean my hard disk has kaputed?

PC Unable to Boot Up

My 1 year old PC is unable to boot up.

PC Specs

MSI PT880 Neo-FSR motherboard
P4 2.4Ghz processor
512MB DDR RAM

During the bootup process, there were 12 beeps.LEDs on both monitor and CPU is currently lighted.

What can I do to diagnose the problem?

Called up one of our local Universities to enquire about their full-time MBA course.

Was told that the working experience only counts after the first degree.
Anything before that is not taken into consideration.

How true is this?
