Samsung hard drives' reliability

Hey guys, I need a general consensus. I recently bought a 1.5TB Samsung hdd (HD154UI) and I'm quite happy with the price and performance of the drive. Now, I plan to get a lot more of these, but before I take the plunge, I need to know how reliable the drives are.

Some facts to consider:
1. This fella has problems with his Samsung drive, albeit it's an older model and OEM (from HP).
2. I find it difficult to find any useful comments regarding the reliability of these drives in Malaysia (which is the reason I posted this thread) except for the one above.
3. In another forum, Europeans seem to love the Samsung drives for the price and reliability.
4. Other brands have been hit hard at times (i.e. the "DeathStar", Maxtors, 7200.11 firmware issues, WD bzbzbz etc) and yet people still buy them and give comments.

Granted, not everything is made perfect, so there will be issues. How often will this happen, and what kind of issues? Why is Samsung "under the radar", so to speak?

Please reply if you have experience with Samsung drives. Old drives (past their warranty period) are expected to have problems, but if yours still work, I would like to know as well.

Imagine this hypothetical situation.

You have this amazingly hot fubu who you've been "friendly" with for some time. You have some sort of emotional attachments to him/her, but he/she doesn't, at least to your knowledge.

Question 1: How do you ask him/her to go steady?

Question 2: How do you tell your other fubus you're ending their "friendships" for this one?

Question 3: How would you feel having a fubu as your significant other?

Remember this is just a hypothetical situation.

Traffic routing based on software used

Hi everyone, need some help here. This is my situation. I have 2 broadband connections, one is connected directly to my winxp machine (Connection A) and the other one over the LAN (Connection B). If both connections are active, all traffic will default to Connection A. Usually this is acceptable, but lately Connection B is very under-utilized and I would like to use that for browsing, http/ftp downloading, online gaming etc etc (Connection A is already saturated with BT, fyi ).

Question 1: is there a way to route traffic on my machine to Connection B while Connection A is up and running? I assume that AnalogX's PortMapper does what I want, but it won't install. Maybe incompatible with XPSP2 or dual-cores? I don't know.

Question 2: If the above won't work, is there a way to assign a seperate gateway to each individual software? For instance, Firefox will use gateway A and Opera will use gateway B?
