Thank you to the big boss behind this donation

Summary:
In the beginning he wanted to do some donasi using the profit earned from merchandize t-shirt that he sold
Soon discovered that hospitals need more helps as medical equipment is running out/insufficient to treat covid-19 patient
Upon checking the pricing with medical suppliers, realized that he is out of budget
As his pocket is not big enough to buy those equipment, he called big boss asking for help
Big boss agreed to donasi RM1 million to help
Uploaded this video to create awareness on the lack of supplies in the hospitals, hope datuk/datin/tan sri/puan sri willing to help those hospitals

New business idea

Dear fellow /k members, ayam had a brilliant business idea targeting secondary students.
The plan is like this, buy some facial/health supplement or product from Taobao.com (chinese version of lelong.com.my), rebrand it using professional photochop skills, sell it via online (facebook, instagram you name it ).
Ayam notice there are lots of amoi doing these kind of business but the way they brand and promote it really sucks. All those posters that they posted in fb are designed using paint only.

Mungkin kata-kata tidak diperlukan untuk Tengku Mahkota Johor Tunku Ismail Sultan Ibrahim untuk beliau menyampaikan mesejnya.

Dalam klip video dimuat naik pada akau Facebook Johor Southern Tigers petang tadi, anak Sultan Johor itu kelihatan sedang berehat di atas kerusi apabila kamera datang menghampirinya.

Ketika kamera berada di kiri Tunku Ismail, beliau menoleh dan mengangkat tangan kirinya sebelum membuat isyarat "marilah" sambil bersandar di kerusi.

Klip sepanjang 17 saat itu juga bermula dan berakhir dengan bunyi ngauman harimau.

Hanya beberapa jam selepas ditegur Datuk Seri Nazri Aziz, Tengku Mahkota Johor Tunku Ismail Sultan Ibrahim muncul dalam klip pendek sambil membuat aksi mencabar.

Dalam akaun Facebook Johor Southern Tigers, beliau dilihat sedang berehat di atas bangku dan menoleh ketika kamera berada di kirinya.

Menggunakan tangan kiri, Tunku Ismail membuat isyarat memanggil.

Klip video sepanjang 17 saat itu bermula dan berakhir dengan bunyi ngauman harimau.

Tunku Ismail adalah Presiden Persatuan Bola Sepak Negeri Johor

Walaupun klip video berkenaan tidak disertakan tajuk atau kapsyen, ia dimuat naik hanya selepas beberapa jam Nazri yang juga Menteri Kebudayaan dan Pelancongan memberi amaran supaya Tunku Ismail tidak mencampuri politik.

Kata Nazri (gambar) tindakan Tunku Ismail boleh menyebabkan rakyat hilang rasa hormat kepada beliau jika kerajaan memberi reaksi kepada komennya.

Pos berkenaan juga pantas mendapat reaksi daripada pengguna Facebook.

Vios Accident

TAIPING - Dua wanita maut manakala seorang remaja cedera dalam nahas membabitkan dua bas dan lima kereta di Kilometer 216.2, Lebuh Raya Utara-Selatan arah Selatan berhampiran Tol Kamunting di sini, sebentar tadi.

Dalam kejadian kira-kira jam 8.20 malam tadi, mangsa, Chiang Yut Meng, 47 dan Ooi Yi Juen, 19, maut di tempat kejadian apabila kereta Toyota Vios yang dinaiki mereka terperosok di bawah bas.

Empat kenderaan lain yang terlibat adalah Toyota Land Cruiser, Perodua Myvi, Toyota Hilux dan Honda Civic. Difahamkan pemandu dan penumpang kereta berkenaan tidak mengalami sebarang kecederaan.

Jurucakap Bomba Penyelamat Perak berkata, seorang remaja dikenali sebagai Michelle Ooi Min Xian, 13, yang juga penumpang kereta Toyota Vios terbabit turut cedera dan dibawa ke Hospital Taiping untuk mendapatkan rawatan kecemasan.

"Bomba mengeluarkan mangsa dengan menggunakan rescue tool dan strectcher. Mangsa yang cedera diserahkan kepada pihak ambulan untuk terima rawatan.

"Manakala, mangsa yang meninggal dunia diserahkan kepada pihak polis untuk tindakan selanjutnya," katanya.

Menurutnya, kesemua penumpang kedua-dua bas berkenaan tidak mengalami sebarang kecederaan.

Kemalangan itu menyebabkan kesesakan lalu lintas lebih 5 kilometer.

Scan reveals 1,000-year-old mummified monk

ASSEN, Netherlands — A golden statue of a sitting Buddha, smuggled from a temple in China to a market in the Netherlands, revealed an extraordinary secret — a 1,000-year-old mummified monk.

Researchers discovered the mummy, encased in a cavity in the statue when a private buyer brought it to the Drents Museum in the Netherlands for restoration.

But it wasn’t until a team of researchers and scientists did a CT scan — a comprehensive three dimensional x-ray image — last year, did they discover the mummy’s organs were missing.

“We thought it would be lung tissue, but instead we found little scraps of paper covered with Chinese characters,” said Vincent van Vilsteren, an archeology curator from the museum.

The mummy was found sitting on a bundle of cloth covered in Chinese inscriptions, revealing its identity as a Buddhist monk called Liuquan who may have practiced “self-mummification” to prepare for life after death.

The process of self-mummification is a known tradition in countries like Japan, China and Thailand, and was practiced over a thousand years ago.

The elaborate and arduous process includes eating a special diet and drinking a poisonous tea so the body would be too toxic to be eaten by maggots. The few monks that were able to successfully complete the process were highly revered.

“We suspect that for the first 200 years, the mummy was exposed and worshiped in a Buddhist temple in China… only in the 14th century did they do all the work to transform it into a nice statue,” said van Vilsteren.

Van Vilsteren and his team are still waiting on DNA analysis results in hopes to trace the mummy back to its exact location in China.

The statue is now housed in the National Museum of Natural History in Budapest and will move to Luxembourg in May as a part of an international tour.

Mohon sebarkan, kejadian baru berlaku pukul 8 malam tadi di Selayang Baru. 1 teksi jenis Proton Persona bernombor pendaftaran HWE 3192 telah melanggar lari sebuah motorsikal dan kemudian melarikan diri sambil mengheret motorsikal tersebut sehingga lokasi terakhir dikejar di jalan loke yew. Semasa pemandu sedang cuba ditahan oleh penduduk kampung selayang baru, pemandu telah melanggar sebuah lagi motorsikal sehingga kemalangan. Hati2 kerana pemandu memandu secara membabi buta. P/s :motor yang diseret masih tersangkut waktu kali terakhir dikejar sebelum teksi tersebut hilang ntah kemana

Telefon modular telah menjadi salah satu perbualan ramai pada tahun ini. Beberapa pihak telah mula memberikan perhatian padanya, apatah lagi dengan Google yang melabur pada Project Ara mereka. Dengan pelbagai perkembangan positif, beberapa peranti berasaskan modular ini dijangka hadir ke pasaran sekitar 2015 kelak.

Salah satu daripadanya adalah PuzzlePhone yang dibangunkan di negara asal Nokia, iaitu Finland. PuzzlePhone hadir dengan sistem operasi Android, dan membawakan beberapa komponen yang boleh diubah dan dinaik-taraf dengan mudah – lebih kurang seperti apa yang anda lakukan pada desktop hari ini.

PuzzlePhone membahagikan peranti mereka kepada tiga bahagian, dimana yang pertama meliputi skrin LCD, speaker dan struktur peranti, bahagian kedua meliputi bateri dan komponen tambahan, sementara bahagian ketika meliputi cip pemprosesan dan juga kamera.

Seperti projek telefon modular yang lain, pihak pembangun PuzzlePhone turut ingin memudahkan pengguna menaik-taraf komponen dengan mudah, dan mengurangkan pembaziran elektronik. Disebabkan itu, mereka membahagikan peranti kepada tiga bahagian, memudahkan pengguna untuk menaik taraf dan mengubah komponen. Sebagai contoh, komponen bahagian utama (yang meliputi skrin) mungkin tidak akan dinaik-taraf oleh kebanyakkan pengguna, sementara mungkin yang ingin menaik-taraf bahagian bateri sahaja, dan mungkin juga yang ingin menaik-taraf bahagian kamera sahaja.

As per title, i checked MyED website just now and realize that i get summoned for speeding. The date of summon is 2 months ago, but total amount had to pay is RM150. As i know, once u exceed 15 days not paying, the amount you should pay will increase.. Since my summon is 2 months, should i pay rm150 or rm200? Didnt receive any letter from PDRM/JPJ also..

This Dog Makes a Miraculous Recovery

THE STORY OF A MERCEDES SALESMAN

Last weekend I followed my uncle to the Mercedes show room at Hap Seng Star. He was checking out the new S class and wanted to place an order for it. When he got there he insisted that he placed a booking with one particular salesman named Kee. When I asked him why he told me this story:

A short while ago one of my uncle’s friends went to the same showroom to order the new Mercedes S-Class.

He walked into the showroom dressed in shorts and his simplest outfit. All the sales people around him ignored him. So he showed himself around and walked around the car on display.

He was ready to place a booking even without test driving the car… but there wasn’t anyone who wanted to approach him to take his booking. So finally he walked over to the other end of the showroom where the lower end Mercedes C-class were all on display.

Immediately a salesperson approached him and introduced himself as Kee. He then walked my uncle through the C-class and all its features. Kee wasn’t the smoothest of car salesman. By the way he spoke English you could tell English probably wasn’t his first language but he knew his facts and seemed honest in his recommendations.

When Kee was done with his run down of the C-Class, my uncle’s friend finally told him that he wanted to book the higher end flagship S-Class right there and then.

Kee looked a little disappointed and said “I”m sorry Sir I can’t sell you the S-Class. For that I need to pass you on to my colleague”.

He then later went on to explain why. My uncle can’t remember exactly why but perhaps it was something to do with Kee being a junior sales person so he wasn’t allowed to sell the higher end cars.

My uncle’s friend didn’t give up. He thought why should he give the sale and the commission then to a so-called higher ranking sales person who didn’t seem to give a damn about him when he walked in.

So he asked to see Kee’s manager. When his manager came by he said

“I want to buy the S-Class right now but I only want to buy it from Kee. So if you don’t want to let him sell it to me, I’ll buy it from another distributor”.

Immediately the manager gave Kee the sale.

My uncle’s friend went back and told the same story to all his friends… one of them being my uncle himself who was interested to buy the car. So my uncle decided to buy it from Kee.

I loved this story because it’s a story where the underdog wins and it’s also on an experience that we all face too often: Being looked down upon based on what we wear into a designer store.

Now of course who knows… maybe the more senior sales people didn’t bother talking to my uncle’s friend not because they looked down on my uncle’s friend based on what he wore but maybe because they were lazy. Though I’m not sure if that’s a much better excuse.
