Ban LAZADA! lousy online shopping platform

I'm going to share my buying experience with Lazada that almost make me go crazy anybody who is planning to buy from Lazada please think twice!

here it goes. It's a bit long but I really need to rant out my frustration with Lazada. I'm a super busy person that I do not have the luxury time to go shopping in a shopping mall or go shop by shop to buy things thus I have been buying things online for quite a number of years. I would say so far I am very happy with 11th street, zalora, lelong or gemfive with no problem at all. Until lately i started buying things from Lazada and there came my nightmare.

I needed to buy furniture for my empty new house and noticed that Lazada gives the best price among all other online platform, so I placed an order worth around rm4k++ through Lazada, which the furniture i purchased is from 2 different merchants, thus there will be 2 shipments to deliver the items. Before buying from Lazada i did checked out their FAQ on delivery method due to I have been trying my very best to avoid SKYNET, everybody knows how bad skynet service is, which in the FAQ they never mentioned they are using skynet at all. I happily placed my order and wait for the tracking number.

Soon after that only i realized the items were shipped by Skynet and I immediately contacted the 2 merchants wanting to question them why on earth they decided to use skynet service, from the sellers i got to know that Lazada is the one 'forcing' them to use Skynet as skynet is partnering with Lazada, meaning once buyer placed an order, lazada will inform Skynet to collect the items from seller.

To my expectation, Skynet failed to deliver my items, 1st shipment was successfully delivered after 10 days of waiting. 2nd shipment never reached even until today, after 14 days from my purchase date. When i checked status online, it says goods will be returned to origin(the seller), the courier guy never call, never attempt to deliver, and straight return the goods to seller.

I have been trying to call skynet office for the past 10 days with 20++ calls a day but there is nobody answering the call, I know this courier company is full of shit and with all super lazy employee, and yet Lazada is using their service, even the seller told me that they have made numerous complaint to Lazada about this courier company but yet Lazada takes no action and still force them to use Skynet.

Finally I called up Lazada to bring this matter to the CS, since the items have been sent back to seller, they agreed to refund. When i received the notification email on the refund, another problem comes, they only refund me the money that i paid for the items, they do not refund the shipping fee! I was charged for rm500++ shipping fee for this purchase and when comes to refund, i only get back the money i paid for the items! I have sent them another email about this and will wait for their response, if i don't get back my shipping fee i will definitely bring this matter to consumer tribunal

Last but not least, I sincerely advise all of you to avoid buying from this shitty company, I've had enough of headache for the past 2 weeks with this company and I will not buy from them in the future for sure!

Finally done with my reno for 2500sf condo

Finally it's my turn to submit report card for my renovation of my 2500sf condo that comes literally 'empty' in the first place when handed over by developer. Tonnes of planning, thinking, researching, shop visiting, coordination and arrangement done in order to get things worked out, without any help from anybody. Initially planned to hire Interior Designer to handle everything but due to few reasons I decided to do it myself, reason being it's a bit too expensive by hiring ID as I was quoted roughly rm130k for just designing and renovating whole house (toilet/balcony/furniture/grille not included), and I do not have confidence in the quality of material used by ID. Imaging if cost charged by ID is rm130k, I need to buy electric appliances, furniture, grilles which can easily come out to be another rm60-70k as 90% of the furniture will need to be purchased as new cos we do not plan to move the existing furniture to new house.

Eventually decided to do renovation by myself, yes it involved so much of arrangement, coordination and monitoring, but I'm glad that at least I can make sure everything is as per my requirement be it the workmanship and quality. Here I am sharing my reno process with you all.

My terrible experience buying fm Mr Bright Lightin

Hi guys, I'm going to share my experience buying lights from MR BRIGHT LIGHTING, which is one of the worst experience EVER in my life! I'm doing renovation for my new home and basically dealing with many many different contractor/seller (be it furniture/general contractor/kitchen cabinet/lighting/plumber/electric compliance ect), but my experience dealing with this particular seller (Mr Bright Lighting) has become my nightmare which giving me tonnes of headaches and frustration despite money paid. I would describe myself as a super patient person when comes to dealing with people but this pain in the ass really left me no choice but to share with you all about the services they had rendered to me as a super easy buyer, not to ask you not to buy from them, but be extra careful IF you really want to buy from them.

I first found out about their shop from facebook ads, by looking at the photo album of their lights, I was very impressed as the lights they are selling are exactly what I was looking for. Thus I didn't mind but to drive all the way to their shop planning to buy the lights for my whole house with them. Fyi my house is damn far away from their shop with approximately 30 KM distance (don't talk about the jam I had to go through which took me about 40 mins to reach their shop located in Taman Mayang.

During the first visit, everything went pretty well, I chose the lights for my whole unit and one thing that really impressed me that time is that they can do assembling and modification to the light if you don't light the original design of it.

Out of all the lights I purchased from them, there was one light which required minor modification, the light originally came in like below picture:

which is in round shape, I was looking for lights to be installed above my kitchen bar table so I wanted it to be straight like below picture:

They promised to modify it with free of charge, and provide me with single socket for each of the light like below picture:

They mentioned the modification is a very easy job. Another light which I need their help would be the chandelier which I need them to assemble it for me as it looks as though it's not easy to assemble, and I don't think my wiring man could do the assembling. Again, they promised to assemble it for me as this is what they always do for their customers.

I happily make full payment of total RM4k++ and go home, as they will need to send the stock from their warehouse to their shop then only I can collect my lights (they do not provide any sort of delivery even if I am willing to pay for it).

Nightmare started right after that. A week later I called them up to check if my stock is in their shop so that I could make a trip to collect them. I had to apply for leave from my work to just collect the lights from their shop, so I make sure I called them to confirm the stock availability before I go there. From the phone conversation, they told me the lights are all ready and I can collect it anytime.

So I made a trip to their shop, let me mention it again, my house is damn far from their shop. After I reach their shop then only I found out that my lights are not there! I was shocked to hear that, as they have other customers in the shop which I need to wait for 10-15 mins before I can further speak to their PIC. So when comes to my turn, the excuse the boss gave me was, he thought I was merely asking if the lights I purchased have stock or not in their warehouse, they didn't expect me to come and collect it! Please don't treat me like an idiot, during the phone conversation I indeed asked them CAN I COME COLLECT THE LIGHTS that I PURCHASED?! and they did answer me YES. Now they twist the story saying that I didn't ask the correct question that leads to the miscommunication.

And yes, I went back home with nothing that day. I didn't fire them up on that particular day and still talked nicely as I took it as it is miscommunication since you said so. I wasted my one day leave, and had to rearrange the appointment with my wiring guy as I asked my wiring guy to come over the next day to install the lights. Apologies to my wiring guy.

I went again to their shop few days later after double confirm with them everything is ready for collection. It's my mistake that I trusted them so much, I didn't check the lights one by one on the day I collected them, as everything is packed and sealed in boxes (so many boxes) and it was going to rain that day so I had to rush to load all the boxes to my car and leave. Btw due to the constraint space in their shop, I don't think I would have the space nor time to open up each box and check.

And the next day my wiring guy came over to install the lights then only we found out that, NONE of the lights came in good condition! NONE of the lights had been assembled as what they promised me! Apart from this, one of the light (with glass cover) is broken, chandeliers were not assembled. The lights that was supposed to be modified to straight line did not come with white sockets, they give me BLACK sockets. One of the chandeliers glass is broken!

wooden vanity top - recommendation

Hi all, I'm planning to renovate my bathroom vanity top to wooden vanity top as shown in below pictures, tried to search up and down for contractor/supplier who can do this but found that there is not many doing this, I have got myself a wood supplier but they do not provide installation which my current contractor has no idea how to do it too. Anybody happen to know any contractor/supplier who sell and install this kind of vanity top please share the contact, appreciate it very very much!

Most Effective Skincare For Acne-Caroline Skincare

I've been a seller in lyn and 1 thing I realized is, majority of my customers (I mean almost 90%) are having acne prone skin. I understand how it feels cos I used to have pimple/oily/large pores/sensitive skin, really something very irritating in my life. I love to be pretty and started to spend money buying all kinds of skincare ranging from cheap products that you can get from pharmacy to expensive open shelf branded skincare, NONE of them is able to give me the result I desired. I used to spent $1k++ on skincare and facial every month for the past so many years until I came across this brand--Paris Caroline Skincare.

I first found out about this skincare brand from my colleague. She has been suffered from severe acne/congested skin since 24 years old, eventhough she is 34 years old but still breakouts all the time. Tried all kinds of expensive skincare but no improvement. Her pimples are not those big big pimple but small pimple with infections, all over her cheeks and forehead. After using Caroline purifying range products for only 1 month, her face became so smooth and cleared of all pimples! There was where I asked her what products she is using.

I am actually already a Caroline product user. I tried many other products before but it never suit me cause my skin is quite sensitive. But when I use Caroline it never give me any problem at all and yet my skin improved, my pimple,blackhead lessens drastically in like a week. Last but not least, she's giving me so many free gifts which are selected from her to cure my skin problem, including ampoule and mask from BEAUTEE.

My skin with all the deep wound and even when i wash my face with clear water, i can feel the pain, "pedih", just like wound touches water.. you know what i mean right??

Yea, the skin is now smooth, and all the wound is clear, no more dirty particles inside like before. What's left is the scars and i will continue using this product. Seriously, i've tried many products before i come to Caroline, don say about the scars, even the skin wasn't smooth... For this product. i found it's amazing, within 7 days, my skin is now smooth ady... Few of my frens and even my mummy realize the different on my skin.

"Hey, your skin is so much better, what have you done?? It seems clear, only left the scars...." I was told my a fren two days ago.

Perhaps tmr morning if i'm free i will take another pic, which is clearer, coz now too dark to show the result....
Oh yea, forget to mention, i've been using four products currently,
the 2in1 purrifying cleanser, rejenuvation lotion, refining cream and the UV sunblock.

let me review each of them:

1) 2 in 1 cleanser:

This cleanser is like a cream, it isn't like a soap with bubble, but is like a cream which apply after you wet your face. It's very cooling after applying. I usually apply that and leave it on my skin for few minutes, then only wash away. When washing away, the skin will be so soft and cooling, a very fresh feel. Unlike some other cleanser which stated for acne skin, after washing my skin will be very dry and part of my skin will like peeling off coz of too dry. This cleanser will not have this problem, after washing off my skin is very fresh yet soft, not drying at all. The best part i found out is my skin less oily ady... Perhaps the herbs are curing my skin? hehe... coz it's stated that this cleanser is made of more than 10 medicinal herbs!

2) Rejenuvation lotion:
This lotion is like water which just to dab on my face. The first time i use i thought it was toner and i used up whole face including eye area, which some of the lotion fall into my eyes! Pedih!! Then same to my wound, it's quite pedih on it. But that's just the first time, then second time onwards i only dab it to the part which have scars and acne
It absord very fast, and it's making my skin soft and fresh! It wasn't like the serum type which need to be massage into the skin, but just watery and just need to dab on and will be absorb very fast!

3) Refining cream:
This cream contain some particle, like scrub? But also, will be absorb very fast and like the cleanser, it's cooling as well. I wonder is it the cooling effect actually close-up my pores making it smoother??
This cream is superb too. Occasionally, my chest part will have some pimples popping up but the condition not as bad as my face (maybe i never press them), thus i tried once to apply on the pimple before i sleep, guess what, the next morning, the pimple gone ady!

4) UV sunblock:
This sunblock is slightly tinted, just slightly, is not like bb cream which have good coverage, but it does cover my scars a bit, previously when my skin started to have breakouts, i keep cover with bb cream and foundation, though knowing i shouldn't make up as it will make my skin more congested, but i have no choice, i can't step out seeing the deep scars and uneven skin on my face...
Now i started to go out without make ups, i just apply this sunblock, but my fren who told me 2 days ago that my skin had improve is a fren who i always make up infront of her. She says that previously though i make up, in a far distance my skin looks flawless but when she near me, she can see that my skin is obviously uneven... Can see the deeps scars. Two days ago when i met her, i didn't make up at all. Just with this sunblock, and she say she can see that my skin is smooth now, just the scar problem which i believe this products will cure my skin up after long time usage!
