I believe that after years of working, some of you sure learnt some important lessons and most of them came brutally and whip you so much.

For those old birds there, what are some of the most important lessons that you learnt during these years of working life? Or some words/criticism given to you that you'll never forget and are really helpful in future.

Is it ok to resign within one day/week/month

Do you think a short time, say a week or a month is sufficient to tell you that whether you will perform in the job or not? If you just started and don't feel happy about your job, would you quit?

Success in school Vs success in career

People say studying and working are two very different things. Success in school doesn't guarantee success in workplace. However having good results in school might indicate some competencies and attitude of oneself such as ability to learn fast, diligence, willing to take initiative, etc. Smart people might have horrible results in school too for some reasons.

So let's see how school results affect career performance. Assess yourself in term of "excellent, average, or poor". How was your school results or academic qualifications as compared to others? How much do you earn currently as compared to your peers?

This comparison is more useful for those having say, 5 years of working experience.

Advise to those don't know what they want

I'm completely lost....I graduated like 2 years ago (2008) but still I didn't find my passion in working...I'm currently in my 3rd job since graduation but still I feel my current job is just not right for me...I feel so bored at every job, probably I chose the wrong offer every time, nothing to do, go office in the morning and wait until end of the day only...The thing and feeling keep repeating.

Is this my problem only? or other recent graduates got this kind of feeling too?

The worst part is, when i go for other interviews, sure interviewer would ask me :"What kind of job are you expecting?", eh....I also don't know. What I know is I don't want to stay in my current job. I know it looks bad in resume to change job so frequent but what to do if I feel I have nothing to do and learn in my current job?
