Maxis 017 Issues - SIM Card

New Maxis Postpaid registration

Everytime I try to use the SIM card memory, I got the message SIM Card Not Ready but the line is still available.

There are 3 status bars on the top left side which I am unable to get rid off:-

(can't reproduce those bars) but basically are as follows:-

voice mail, encrypted data and the third is - @

Any Masters know how to resolve this?
Maxis Customer Service can't offer any resolution except changing the SIM card which does not solve the problem.

Yamaha RX-659

Pairing the Yamaha RX-659 with the Monitor Audio Bronze 2 and Centre plus a Kenwood SW305 wubwoofer somehow produce a very mellow sound ant not the oomph that one seek with HT. Somehow, the sound just does not attack you. My previous Denon 1602 seem to be much better with HT but the Yamaha do perform better with music.

Anyone can suggest on ways to improve or where I have gone wrong? Using QED Silver anniversay cables and Van der Hul coaxial.
