Low Budget LED Haier vs Toshiba

Dear Sifu-sifu,

Few days back I saw a 40" Haier LED TV which I don't remember the model number with the selling price of MYR1099 at Aeon Big (formerly known as Carrefour) which is MYR 100 to 200 cheaper than Toshiba PB200 series. I am not sure how good Haier as the review is quite limited in Malaysia. Due limited budget, I think is a good buy but I believe your valuable inputs will be much appreciated.

Purchasing 2nd Car (Year 2009 onwards)

Dear Sifus,

I am planning to get a 2nd hand auto car (from 2009 onwards) and my choice boils down to either Proton Persona or Perodua MYVI or Naza Bestari 2006. My budget is RM 38K and below. No more stretching to above that. I will be using the car for some weekend travelling (at least 150km one way) and some city driving.

Your advises are much appreciated.

If the coverage map of Digi Broadband shows on 3G instead Broadband, what does this means? Can I still have surf around that area?

Did anyone of the forum submitted their form to the staff of the PC COM on the last day of PC Fair II 2010? I have waited for more than 1/2 hour and being one of the 1st 50 person, I think I should be able to purchase the magazine and the free gift (Imation PMP). Of all sudden a guy came and ask for the form and he told us that PC COM will contact us in 3 days time and we will be asked to go to their office to pay up and claim our gifts.

OK.. the waiting games begin.. Waited for 2 weeks and on last Thursday I made the 4th calls to them. Guess what? I was been told that there is NO MORE free gifts even you are the 1st 50 lining up there and submitted the form! This is utterly ...DISGRACED!!!

How could such a BIG MAGAZINE company gives this type of excuse???? I am totally irritated and annoyed with the excuse given by them. If PC COM is not interested or unable to give us the free gift, PLEASE.. FOR GOODNESS SAKE!, SAY EARLIER!!!

CHEATED and ANNOYED!!! I really feel disappointed with such magazine!!!

PC.COM! You just LOST a LOYAL CUSTOMER and I am sure more will COME!!!
