Hi everyone,

I know this issue has been asked by many people and some are still figuring out how to do. I'm also one of those people. I have this static IP address and I would like to setup a web server from home. I am trying to forward port 80 to my local machine ip 192.168.1.50. I have done this http://malaysia.answers.yahoo.com/question...12073320AABDTQr solution too. It isn't just helping me. Any input would be much appreciated.

P.S. This is my first time doing it and it's for testing purpose. What exactly happening is, whenever I type the ip address on the browser, it's showing the router configuration page. (I get the ip by go checking on www.whatismyip.com). If I am on the wrong track, please correct me.

Thanks all

Reliable ASP.NE hosting in malaysia

Hi everyone yeah help me out.

hehe . I am looking for a reliable (definition of reliable here is less downtime, .NET version at least 2.0 support or upper, and pretty much the drill like the more storage the better, email accounts, blur blur blur). I don't have any experience with .NET hosting and having a hard time choosing the right one. Plus, I plan to host more than one website (multiple domain name like www.siteone.com , www.sitetwo.com) on that single server IF POSSIBLE. Please help me narrow down the choice. I will post my findings here too for future reference if someone happen to be in the same shoes. Thanks all and looking forward to seeing more suggestions here.

[addedon]August 24, 2010, 1:58 am[/addedon]After 3 hours research I ended up having a live chat with iWebHosting.com.my. In their business plan (windows hosting), they give us 2 websites hosting (which I found other hosting services allow only 1 website hosting) with one MSSQL storage 500MB. The price is at 600RM for 2 years plan. Any of you think I should go for this package ? Any recommendation would be very much appreciated.

You can view the package and its spec via this URL
http://www.iwebhosting.com.my/windowshosting/

Blackberry doesn't go well with Maxis ?

Hi everyone,

This is seriously driving me crazy. I purchased a blackberry phone last week and enjoyed using it . Not till I received a call from a friend of mine. IT WAS A TOTAL DISASTER. I couldn't even speak one single word. The signal wasn't too low but the line is on and off. I thought the problem was temporary and wouldn't occur again. BUT I WAS SO WRONG. No matter how many calls I made or how much I tolerate (hoping it's temporary), the problem still persist. Does that occur to everyone ? It is becuz of my mobile network in this case Maxis or it's becuz blackberry is like that ( I dun think it's becuz of the phone). I dunno and confused. Now I have switched back to my old sony ericsson and it's working just fine. No problemo. Can anybody out there suggest me solution on this thing ? Should I change to other mobile provider from Maxis or just pack the blackberry up and give it to someone else as a present ? This is driving me nuts. Thanks all

anybody heard of The Game Business

Hola everyone,

Anybody heard of that company "The Game Business" ? One of my friend got offer from that company and she said when she went to the office and there's nobody and it appeared that they were just putting a few desks. No single computer (I seriously doubt that a company like their name at least should have one computer uh ?) and it's more like multipurpose hall at a college (that means you can play soccer in that office). There's only one guy and she had an interview with that guy. He offered her job and he said they are just starting out here in Malaysia. She asked me about this company and I have no idea. My question is how can she find out whether it is a legitimate company or not and if it wasn't a legitimate one, what could possibly happen to her ? Has any of you experience this sort of case too ? Please share here and thanks.
http://siva-my.jobstreet.com/_profile/prev...rtiser_id=48584 that's their online job ads. Any suggestions will be very helpful.

P.S. She mentioned that even the Sale/Let ads haven't taken down yet.
