Hair Dryer repair

recently bought a hair dryer from japan and did not check the power rating its rated at 100 v 50-60hz

came back and plugged it in to our 220v power supply and smoked it...

is there any way to have this repaired in malaysia?

its those panasonic enanoe hair dryer ... quite expensive and was stupid to not check the power rating before using it in malaysia

anyone know if this can repaired and to use it i need a step down power converter(Where can i get one of this?)

Hood Installation Issue

Would like see if anyone has any idea on how to resolve this issue

The flexi hose to the outlet cap size dont match, and i was told by the shop who sold me the cap and hood - this is correct size(the flexi hose and outlet cap)

But they just dont match as the outlet cap is about 5 inch and the flexi hose is 6 inch i believe ... was told to use aluminium tape to tape it up ...

THat should not be the case, but was told there is no outlet cap bigger than this, that they are of standard size

Any ideas folks?

Anyone using any Flat Screen Anti-Tip Strap?

Hi i recently got one of those Ross Anti Tip Safety Strap

In the kit there is 4 set of screws included, M3, M4, M7, M7 screws, but i cant seem to get it into the mounting screw holes of the Samsung U48J5500

i googled and most says its a M6 size, but the M6 screw size wont fit as the head is too big, it can fit a M3 screw head though ...

Anyone knows whats the screw size and perhaps where to get it? Or i need to go source from hardware shop?
