Hi guys,

My brother was with a local bank for 5 years and recently was offered to join a foreign bank. After joining only that he realized the working environment is kinda toxic and he has not been happy in the new company. He has decided to resign but only to realized there is a clause in the LO stating that he has to pay 6 months gross salary in the event of resignation within 12 months of employment.

I am from banking industry but i am unsure there is such clause. Is there anyone who's familiar with this? Under what circumstances 1 must repay? My brother is resigning and is planning to do his own business so he is reluctant to pay this hefty amount.

More old mercedes than bmw on the road

Hi guys,

I notice there are way much more old mercedes benz on the road than old bmw.

Is it because mercedes is much more durable than bmw?

If that's the case, then mercedes should be a better off buy than bmw as it can use longer.

Meanwhile, how's the quality of the new bmw? Is it much better now? Has their QC improved?

Staying in Mont Kiara

Hi all,

I'm considering buying a condo in mont kiara for own stay. After some consideration in term of budget and environment, this 2 choices were made.

However, i've received a lot of advise from friends not to buy a condominium in Mont Kiara as the condos there are way oversupply, hence risk of price drop.

Some has also said that i'll be better of buying a landed house in cheras which is cheaper.

So i'm here to ask for your expert opinion.

If it's staying in MK, which one is better? I-zen or Kiara Designer's suites.

Or

Should i just buy a landed house in cheras and go through crazy jam every single day.

Your opinion is greatly appreciated.

Dear all,

My friend is looking into purchasing this 2 cars and so i decided to ask all the pros here.

1st car: The BMW 3 Series convertible (2009/10) with warranty still intact from auto bavaria.

2nd car: Audi A5 (2009/10) pre facelift version

He was told that the convertible bmw depreciate much faster than Audi A5. Audi's value on the other hand has a stronger resale value (based on the sales person).

He is pretty happy with BMW 3 series but is fear that the convertible roof may cost premium to repair if it's faulty. At the same time, BMW spare parts are more expensive.

The A5 is a pretty decent car but the passenger seat is just too small and there is already a facelifted version now. The good thing bout A5 is that it's recon, so cheaper interest rate. Small cccheaper road tax.

SOUND GONE AFTER BSOD!

Hi fellow experts!!!!

One fine day, I was sufing net and listening music with my comp and suddenly i had a BSOD. After the comp automatic restart, there is a window message saying that window has just recovered from a serious problem. Right after that, i found out that my comp no longer has any sound. Audio icon is gone, soundman.exe is gone and apparently i cant play any music because there is no hardware detected or something. I google everywhere and many told me to reinstall the driver, which i did but to no avail! So i thought it's time for me to change the MOBO.

Now the weird thing is, the other morning, i turn on my comp again. AND TO MY SURPRISE, there is a window startup music!! i was so happy that i almost cry. immediately i play a music file but to my horror, the music plays BUT NO SOUND IS THERE. and so i thought of restarting it again. Right after i restarted, everything turn back to the same problem. NO sound icon, no soundman.exe, no nothing!

So pro pro sekalian, what can i do to get back the sound. My comp is souless without sound. HELPHELPHLEP.
