Software Engineering in Malaysia

As i know, nowadays software engineering there is not so valuable as much as like b4,
if you are not studying in overseas (software engineering) but in malaysia,
your "price" will not get very high only.....

i dunno how much is the basic salary for software engineering now,
and do they are very needed in malaysia ?

Anybody can help me..how to setting the modem(Aztech 600Ew) for bitcomet??
About the Nat,port forward,upnp,dmz,icf,ics......

Some say open upnp in modem and close it in bitcomet...some say both open...
i have try change setting for whole day..but the speed still like snail...2-6kbps++

My speed always up and down,unstable....
when download at 6kbps,it will suddenly down to 0.1 kbps for some second,
then continue with 6kbps...

like...

1st second : 6kb recieved
2nd second : 12kb recieved
3 rd second : 12.1kb recieved
4 th second : 12.2kb recieved
5 th second : 12.3kb recieved
6 th second : 12.4kb recieved
7 th second : 18.4kb recieved...

Found that no threads are discussing UEC,so opening here ...
anybody,who dunno what's UEC(United Examination Certificate)

It is an examination same like STPM,SPM for independent high school,
the level is higher than SPM but lower than STPM...
but UEC are acceptable for world university(except Malaysia),no need study foundation or diploma,
and can directly get degree certificate...
It is save one year than studying STPM and SPM

What the pity is nowadays,Malaysia University still dun want accept UEC,
although world university oredi accept it.....

Here's the story...

about 18/6,someone order a sonybean from me,
because of the guy have con b4,he want paying RM50 for deposit 1st,
then will make balance of payment after received the item...
i accept this trade...

the item was directly sent by my supplier with GDex courier to the buyer hand...

one day going.....still havent received...
two days going.....also havent received...

i asking my supplier that did he sent the item,he said yes,
i asked the buyer that did he really din receive the item,he said yes..

Oh God....

i ask my supplier show out the receipt of courier,he cant cause he lost it
i blame my supplier,why everytime also dun want keep the receipt..
the buyer want me show the receipt,i couldnt...he said i con him....=.=

about 3 days ago,i phoned to Gdex HQ,asking them for the parcel under the name of receiver and sender,then they checked it....errmmm....have the record on their database,oh my god,blame wrong ppl.....my supplier did send the item

so,i asking GDex fax me the receipt,they do so....
now only two guys are on the suspicion of my mind
one is the buyer,one is the GDex deliverer...

Haih.....God din bless me any....GDex want me give them some time to investigate,but some days ago,they want me goto Gdex Melaka,the receiver location there,i say i cant....it is too far for me and why need i go there?wasting for my time,they must responsible for this..!!!!!!

I ask my buyer help me go GDex Melaka for inquiry it,
and ask them check out the who is the deliverer that day,
pointed out where did the item send to....

my buyer said the reciever of the item is an old lady,
but after ask again,he said is a young man,

Just want to ask...

I have sent an item with 2 weeks personal warranty to A using PosLaju,A refer to the ppl who buying the item from me...
After A get the item,he contact me...say:"it''s great stuff,all in good condition",
but few days later,he phoned back and blame me that the item's button was broken,can press but unfunctionable,how to claim the warranty?.....

so....wanna asking that is the item are in good condition when in his hand,but after few days,it is spoilt...am i need to claim a new one for him in the term of "PERSONAL WARRANTY"????

ATI driver setting during benchmarking :)

Ok, this is my own guide on what to set for ATI driver while benchmarking. Everything here is what i set when running 3dmark01/03/05. Hope it can help you guys when running benchmark. Everything here is done on Catalyst Driver.

First, install the drivers from ati here: www.ati.com
Now, before benchmarking, set to the settings as like below:

1) AA/AF set to "Let the applications decide"
2) Catalyst AI set to "Advanced"
3) Mipmap detail level set to "High performance"'

@ Smartgart inside the ATI Catalyst Control, make sure your AGP speed is "8x".
The rest of the settings i just leave it untouch.

ATI driver have a feature call "Overdrive". Its a OC tool/temp sensor from ATI.
Overdrive is ONLY activated if you are using the following cards:
9600XT/9800XT/X800XT/X800XTPE/X850XT/X850XTPE/X1800XL/X1800XT
Beside this, the rest of the ati cards doesnt support overdrive

I dun overclock with it, i dun feel it good, thats why i use Atitools.

The above are the settings i set during benchmarking.
These are the points to take note of:

1) If you are using nvidia, use driver cleaners to remove the nvidia driver before installing the ati driver.

2) You can install ati newer driver over the old ati driver, ati installer will delete the old files.

3) Check out online to see how much your card should get.

4) CPU/RAM timing dun really play a part much in 3dmark05, but 03 and 01 yes, esp 01, its a sensitive benchmark when every single change will affect the scores.

5) Make sure your card is cool during benchmarking. Idle time, u can set the fan speed to low, but during benchmark, its best to set the fan speed to max. Speed control can be done using 3rd party software like Atitools or ATI tray tools. Both are diff do take note.

6) Change to a better cooler if you feel that the stock hs cant give high scores and runs hot.

7) If there is a power molex on your card, pls CONNECT it!

8) Disable VPU recovery, sometime, it will cause your card to hang, even tot it can still go higher.

9) To play safe, disable any background programs running like MSN, BT downloading, anti-virus, anyspyware. Or you can try gongkia2000 way:Simply go to "run", type msconfig, then select diagnostic startup and restat. It will only boot with necessary drivers/programs. Much cleaner. Assured lower cpu usage.

10 simple steps make shroud for the radiator

This applys for a ford transit radiator I own, but the steps are the same, you just change the dimensions according to your radiator.

1.) Some of the materials we'll need. The plate of aluminium 4/10 I bought has 1mx2m dimensions and it's very cheap around 10euro, you can make around 8 shrouds with it so if you find it somehow big you can buy a smaller one.
You will need also some screws, I used some 3x40 and 3x10 with nuts.

2.) It's better before we starting cut the aluminium to make a plan with paper. I used some classic A4 papers with tape. We have to measure the dimensions of our radiator, mine is 27cm length, 15.5cm width and 3.5cm thickness. Also we must calculate the gap between the fans and the radiator, it's better to have this around 2-4 cm, I used 3cm. So the thickness of the shroud will be 3+3.5(from the thickness of radiator) = 6.5cm.

And here it is if we fold it.

3.) After that, with the help of the paper-plan we made, we outline with a marker on the aluminium. We use a ruler also to measure if the dimensions are correct.

If you do not know which one to choose (CLDC1.1 or 1.0) start by CLDC1.1. Most of the phone now are MIDP1.1 enabeld phones (SE K700,K750,W800,V600,etc.. Nokia 6230i, etc...) MIDP1.0 phones are for instance, SonyEricsson P900, Motorola V600.... Blackberry version (just use your blackberry and point here). Note that it's the standard version juste repackaged in a cod file. The "standard" conversion on the fly from jar does not seems to work for me:
