Sony soundbar HT-CT770 where to buy?

Hi guys,

I heard few soundbars at Harvey Norman yesterday. with the similar environment condition (open space), the sony HT-CT770 really stand out compare to LG. SQ is quite detailing, more soundstage and hv a better boom too. they dont have stock, list price is 1499, but able to get it 1350 for order.

i wonder if anywhere shop is selling this with a better price in klang valley or kl?
mind to share please.

~30,000 for HOME AUDIO ?

I would like to setup a new home audio system and my budget is around ~30k +/-5k for audio system only. for video is another story la.. hihi..

I am a newbie to this but i appreciate quality sound system for home Audio and Video.

my requirement would be:
60% on audio
40% on video/movie/game
5.1 channel are enough
3D not necessary
Put at living room, approx. 200ft2 i think

So I hope sifu's here can help abit to give some advise on combination of speakers, amps, or pre-pro.. or etc... (brand, models etc)

IF you are me, what you will get to fit into 30k?

best AV receiver around RM5000

Hi,

I am about to setup a home theater system. I would welcome any suggestion from all the sifu here.... my questions:

1. what is the best VALUE FOR MONEY receiver around RM5000 in the market today? and why?

2. are those manuf. (denon, onkyo, marantz) come out with new model every year? normally in end of the year?

speaker will be Mordaunt Short mezzo 1,5,6,9 for 5.1system.
source will be blue ray player (or PS3)
movie 40%, music 60%.
