choosing bra

Hey ppl. Sorry this is a really noob question.
How do you guys choose the right bra? I mean yea I know cup size and all, but how do you girls determine the right cut and all that? Different brands sizes different right? Does padding add to cup size? Is it that if you have to tighten the straps to make it fit then it doesn't actually fit you?

Haha I know I've been a girl all my life but I'm just so clueless somebody help me!

Should I get the new Asus Transformer Prime?

Hey guys I was wondering if I should get a Transformer Prime and would really appreciate your thoughts on this.

You see, I'm on a budget. I can either:
1. Get the Transformer Prime and continue using my current laptop
2. Use the money to get a new laptop and forgo the tablet.

A bit of information on my current laptop. I'm using an Acer Aspire 4740 and have been using it for just over two years now. As I can see there's been not much problems with it, just the occasional lag, probably cause its pretty loaded.

I'm really attracted to the Prime and I think that maybe my laptop could last a couple more years?

sorry I'm no techno person so might have left out some serious consideration. Do let me know if so.

thanks guys

ps: i actually opened an exact same thread in the hardware section, but i think it's supposed to be here. trying to figure out how to delete that one. quite noob

indecisive about hair dye

hey girls need your advice:)

i'm been thinking about dying my hair and bought loreal casting creme gloss hair dye to try out. the colour is terracotta. but suddenly i'm not really sure if it was what i'm looking for, i think i wanted something more brown instead, but i suppose i wouldn't mind trying it out anyway. it will be my first time dying and my natural hair colour is black, with a hint of dark brown.

so my question is if you were me, would you still go through with it? if i don't use the dye, i could give it to my mom. then buy a new one if i'm that intent on buying. but still since its my first time, the insecurities would still be there.

oh and also do you guys think it will be obvious? i was going for subtle actually.. like people don't realize you've dyed your hair until you're under the sun..

all opinions are welcomed!! thanks a lot ...

stupid questions

I'm really blurr about these things and only started paying attention to it recently, appreciate if you guys could help me out answering some of my questions..

1. after washing your face in the morning, in what sequence do i apply these things: toner, pimple cream, daycream/uv blocker?

2. how to apply toner? also clueless about daycream.. something about circular upward strokes?

3. my friend told something like 'don't ever wipe your face hard, it'll clog your pores. if you want to, just use tissue and gently press on your face.' is this true. can someone shead some light on this..

4. how to use hair conditioner?

5. does ironing your hair damage it? or depends on what brand and how frequent? (the one i'm using is Phillips salon straight essential)

6. is there a natural way to whiten teeth?

really sorry i'm such a noob at these things.. thanks for all your time...

ps: i think i have more questions, but i can't remember them now..=)

Urgent: what's your take on this?

hey guys want your take on this....

my friend's currenlty studying in college now, started her a levels in march. She's studying under 50% scholarship, which will be revised at the beginning of next year based on internal exams, can be upgraded or downgraded. the CGPA to upgrade the scholarship to 100% is 3.2. but anyway my college fees arent that high, even if she loses the scholarship she'd only have to pay a few thousands.

Not too long ago, she found out that she was selected for Matriq at Kedah. So now she has to decide whether to stay at my college or got to matriq.

A little info about my friend:
-She's chinese, so getting matriq is like near impossible, but she got it.
-She doesn't really like Malay food and most probably can't tahan wearing long sleeve etc everyday.
-She has relatives near where she's going, about 30mins drive.
-she is quite hardworking and smart, got 8-9As in spm.
-She dreams of studying overseas
-She doesn't want to burden her parents, so matriq would be ideal in that sense.
-She has 2 older siblings already in uni, and a younger sister (standard 5 i think) for whom she is very concerned about.

Actually the only thing attracting her to go for matriq is the stability that it offers. Her parents wouldn't have to worry about paying for her, neither would she need to worry as well. If it wasn't for this, I would advise her not to go as she is doing fine here, but it would seem that her family is not very well off. She's afraid that won't be able to retain the scholarship and thinks that maybe she is too ambitious wanting to go overseas.

so guys... opinions please... she's leaving soon, on the 10 of may.. so she'd have to decide quick. i don't want her to regret this...

ps:any extra info i will try to provide..

Urgent: opinions and suggestions much needed

hi guys, i'm currently doing edexcel a levels now, taking 4 subjects: Maths, Econs, Accounting and Business.

i'm wondering whether I should change subject...
you see that day i visited the LSE website to check out the entry requirements, just curious. It says that (from what i understand) they look at 3 subjects only, 2 of which must be preferred subjects. There was one part that listed all the non-preferrred subjects, which included business, accounting, law, psychology...
so that means that i'm currently taking 2 preferred and 2 non-preferred subjects.
i'm thinking, if i change business to physics, would it increase my chances of getting into top UK universities?

so i weigh the pros and cons...(anything i can think of k.. )
PHYSICS
pros-a preferred subject
-have a good teacher
-my dad can teach
-have basic knowledge cos i'm from science stream, and i did get A+ for it though i don't think i'm that good
cons- hard subject, as lots of ppl say (but like i said, my dad can teach me), typically chances of getting A is slimmer
-not my favorite subject(kinda got bored when studying for spm), i'm neutral about it, not sure whether i can tahan it for more than a year
-no friends taking this subject
- have to pay lab fees, buy lab coat etc
-don't plan to take anything physics-related as of now

BUSINESS
pros-easier than physics, Typically chances of getting A higher.
-have more time to study other subjects
-learn more about the world..
cons-not a preferred subject
-on the website it said that business is one of the more preferred subject on the non-preferred list, however the combination of econs and business 'is best avoided'
-certain parts overlap with accounting and economics, so might be a bit reducdant
-teacher can be interesting, but i'm worried if he won;t be able to finish syllabus cos he elaborate so much...(then again if only my second class with him)
-i overheard a teacher saying that 'don't know why some students don't get A, they seem to be very stingy with their A' (for business i mean)
-even if i get an A, its not as impressive than A in physics

basically, i feel that if i take physics and get a B, it is worse than an A in business. whereas if i take business, i'm limiting myself to the recognition (from the universities) of getting an A in business. the recognition of getting A in physics, which is much higher, would become unattainable.

as of now i intend to pursue accounting and/or finance. If not, psychology..

so you guys think i should change? the deadline is pretty soon so have to decide..

if you dont want to give suggestion, you can drop me a word of encouragement, really need that right now... *headache*
thanks a lot:)

After you graduate, you are required to come back to malaysia and serve Bank Negara for 10 years ( 2 years of service for every year you spent their money studying).

how many of all will be willing to take the offer? any opinions?

thanks...

right now my options for degree are accounting, finance, psychology, architecture, interior design, biochemistry..(these are the ones i can remember)

so i've decided that if i go to college, i'll take AUSMAT at Sunway. If not i'll go for stpm. the only reason i'm considering AUSMAT is cos its the cheapest college pre-u that offers both psychology and accounting as subjects. but i think i should drop science cos my options are mostly arts.

should i just go to form 6 so that i can keep all my options but give up taking psychology (means i can't sample it) and save money? or should i take ausmat and take psychology (can confirm my interest in it) but cut off part of my options?which might be a good thing cos i'm having a really hard time choosing...

or should i wait and see results first? then do i choose if results are good?

appreciate your opinions on this...thanks

hi, i did spm last year and trying to decide what to do next. i'm very lost about my future and don't even know where i want to go from here. hope you guys can help me out.

the problem with me is that i have too many shallow interests. i'm average at all subjects. like maths but dislike physics. alright with bio and chemistry. i took accounts as well..quite like it but don't think i did so well in spm so...maybe not suitable..i don't know

well, currently my options are accounting, finance, psychology, biotechnology, biochemistry, architecture, pharmacy...??
at first my main options were psychology and accounting. psychology is like an unsure interest and seems to have no prospect in malaysia; accounting is more practical and i don't mind doing it, but there's literally thousands of people doing it.

if i can find a science course i like then i'd go for it..but can't seem to find one..maybe you guys could help me out...

i'm not even sure that i have to decide now. maybe i can wait till after pre-u to decide on what degree course. but i still have to decide on arts or science and whether to go to college or to stpm.

man i'm confused.. seriously need help...

psychology graduate

i know people say that a psychology grad can work almost anywhere as long as they're people involved, like in advertising, marketing etc etc..

but wouldn't an employer from an advertising company rather hire someone with advertising degree as compared to a psychology grad? or at least the chance of a psychology grad getting hired is lower?

want your view on this...thanks
