Hello all!

I am looking for a place to stay for one month for one person --> from 15-Jun-18 until 15-Jul-18.
Looking at areas in Petaling Jaya or nearby e.g. Ara Damansara, Subang, Subang Jaya, Sunway, SS15 etc.

Reason being that my rental contract with my current place is going to end in mid of June and my own property is scheduled to be ready by the following month :-)

Hello All,

I came across this shop called Perniagaan Jam May May and plan to buy one of the g shock watch. I understand that the shop has been running the business for 20 years or so and claims that all units are 100% original. However, I find the price difference between what is offered in the shop and those in official g shock outlets to be quite a big gap and I was also informed by the shop that I can only bring the watch back to them for warranty claims and not other official g shock outlets. This made me question if the parts sold are in fact genuine.

Anybody here got experience buying watches from the shop and can comment on the authenticity?

I am selling off my beloved IBANEZ PREMIUM RG870QMZ (HIGH VOLTAGE VIOLET - discontinued color).
I am throwing in my LINE6 SPIDERIII 30 watts guitar amp as well.

Guitar condition: 9.5/10 (some oxidation on volume and tone knobs only! never been gigged!)
Amp condition: 9/10 (only for home use since day one of purchase, never been gigged!)

Reason for sale: Funding for other gears.

Asking for RM2,200 for both guitar and amp. FYI, original Ibanez semi rigid guitar case is also included.

PROBLEMS with Samsung Galaxy SL

Hey guys, i jz bought a samsung galaxy SL yday and seem to have some problems below. Some of it could be due to some simple reasons but i dont know as im new to the device so go easy on me k

(1) Ringtone issue - somehow when ppl calls in, my ringtone starts off at a lower volume then at the 2nd ring, the volume increases. I couldnt find under settings on how to make the volume uniform. I think its a problem.

(2) Wifi - oh boy, this really annoys me. When i tried to connect to a wifi network after keying in the password (password is confirmed correct), it keeps saying "obtaining IP address" and i swear this goes on and on forever. Waited like forever but still same result. Whereas for some reason, when i connect to my hse wifi, it works ok.

(3)Battery life - I think this a known existing issue. I was using the phone on normal applications. No excessive calling, talking or browsing. Somehow the battery lasted less than a day. Worse thing is that i noticed the phone gets warm even after i closed all apps. Heck, it was in locked mode so I wasnt using it at all. Somehow it just warmed up and i could feel it in my pocket.

(4)no reception - Been using the phone for abt 2 days now. I received quite alot of those missed call sms from the service provider. Im assuming my friends couldnt reach me as if my phone was off. Of course my phone wasnt off throughout the whole time. And sometimes when i make a call, it abruptly ends and says "call ended".

I'm really annoyed by these problems. I have seeked for Samsung sales assistant and all they said were this is normal which really disappoints me. I doubt they even know what i'm talking abt and simply just say its normal.

Would really appreciate it if u guys could help!!!!

[WTA] Advice On Camera Purchase

hey guys! i'm deciding to get a 'semi-pro' or a compact with manual controls. want to see where my new interest in photography will lead me to but at the moment, not considering to buy a dslr yet (unless price is right ) anyways, i was thinking maybe the panasonic lumix LX5 is the one to go for? luv the retro-ish design n the manual controls. but of coz i do wish it comes with higher megapixel, full HD video instead of HD & further zooming. So perhaps you camera kaki's here got better recommendations. I guess my budget will be abt (rm1.6k+).
