I have pimple problems & was recommended to go for facial treatment. Any
good ones to recommend in PJ area that is not too expensive? I don't want those
that force you to buy their products, etc. If can come to the house, even better.

Thanks.

Which school offer GSE O Levels

Anyone know of any private schools that offer GSE 'O' Level curriculum in PJ/KL ? I'm not talking
about international schools, which cost a bomb ! So far I've only found Sri KL which offers this but
want to compare the fees with others, if available. Am looking for a suitable school for my youngest
daughter who will be affected by the switch of Maths & Science back to BM when she enters Form 1
in 2013.

Thanks!
Favouritism among lecturers

Am not too sure if this is the right place to post this topic

I wonder if any of you young people here ever come across lecturers who show
favouritism twds certain students in yr class & therefore give better marks/grades
to them? How do you deal with this ?

My daughter, who is doing her foundation studies in one of the popular colleges, is
facing such a problem right now with one of her lecturers. She is very upset
that this particular lecturer always give better grades to her 'pets' even though they put
in poorer work. Before you say I am biased, she showed those work plus hers to other
lecturers/tutors & all agreed the markings are biased but of course, they do not want
to get involved. My daughter also approached this lecturer for explanation but all she
got was some weak excuses about her style of writing, etc.

The thing is, my daughter is affected by this & I do not know how to advise her. I only tell
her to bear with it for a few more months as her course will end in June but this seems like
such a defeatist way...she may meet more such people in the future...so, how can she
deal with this?

Thanks!
Toshiba or Acer laptop?

Hi, I'm new here. I just started A-levels and need to get a laptop.

There is an ongoing Acer fair by Harvey Norman which offers extended warranty
for Acer laptops and I am considering getting one. But some friends tell me I should
go for Toshiba instead, which is of better quality.

Can someone enlighten me ? Thanks!
