Extra Monthly Payment on Mortgage Principal

Hi fellow Sifu's, I need some opinion as I'm so confused here, can anyone enlighten me pls?

So my house loan tenure is 30 years commenced since 2013. Throughout the period up until now, I have been occasionally making extra payments - sometimes in one lump sum, while some other months paying extra whenever my finance situation allows, thinking that it would help me payoff the loan earlier and save on the final interest amount. But along the way, i did not really calc exactly how much interest that I have saved

So today when I suddenly decided to check on the savings amount n details - using some web mortgage ammortisation calculator, I'm shocked to find that my remaining years term of loan shown is still the same (payoff by 2044 - same with initial loan maturity year) as if I have NOT made any additional payments all these while??

What is wrong here or am I missing anything. Im no expert in math and considerd a noob in mortgage. Pls help shed some light 😥

Whre have all those extra monies gone then if it wasnt into the principal? And yes, I have purposely chosen principal payment too for those extras. Have I been paying extra for nothiing??

Need some bankers help or something. Thank you so much for enlightening me

House Electricity keep Tripping

Hi sifus,
Need some urgent guidance here
Recently my house electricity keep tripping over the night and my family is having hard time sleeping due to this. Bought the house few years back and done renovation (extension, plaster ceiling and wiring) 2-3 years ago, had a few rare trips due to rainy season & have been living quite OK since. Only til recently it has gotten quite rampant, trips at night wihout apparent reason (no rain no thunder) and can't turn back on for quite some time.

I have 5 air conds & have engaged an electrician previously without solving the issue. He just changed the main and sub switches for Aircond for me. My wires are mostly concealed in wall and above ceiling. Now I'm panicking unsure what to do .. pls help

Just interviewed for a managerial role today, below are some key takeaways of what happened:

1. seemed more like a casual chat at first before deep diving in work experience
2. hiring manager asked for expected salary
3. hiring manager asked if company offers me when can i start
4. hiring manager asked between 2 roles available and which would i prefer
5. hiring manager explained both jobs in detail and the product/company background
6. hiring manager was smiling and enjoying the conversation while it lasted
7. hiring manager said he would be interviewing more ppl but gave a clear timeframe of revert back
8. hiring manager looked at his watch once
9. hiring manager did not ask if i have any questions at the end of interview
10. lasted for 2 hours

Most often the time interviewers like to ask this question: are you currently staying with family or with yourself?
Wonder why they ask this question? So they know whether the candidate has high commitment or not and if not - chances for candidate to request lower expected salary is it?

Or is there any other reasons. Anyone from HR can clarify
