New battery keeps dying HELP ME

hi guys really need your help here.
i have a 2010 citra. i changed a new battery bout a year ago. and within 4 months its dead. think it was century.
lucky its still under warranty so the shop gave me a new hitachi battery.

one day the boot was not closed properly so the small light in the car was on and drained the battery.
couldnt jumpstart the car so i brought the battery to a workshop.
after 1 day the shop told me that the battery isnt charging and is dead. so i have to get a new one again!
my question is:

1) did the battery shop conned me and gave bad batteries (i saw both of them were newly opened from their boxes)
2) is there something else wrong with my car?

this car is old and all kinds of problems started popping out lately. but right now im just so frustrated i dont know if i should invest in this car anymore or just sell it.

Hi guys. Im currently working in IT in singapore earning sgd4500.
My uncle who runs a canteen in a university is moving to Uk so hes asking if i wanna take over his business.
Ive seen him run the canteen. During semester break aka low season, the would still earn a profit of around rm1000 perday. On high season the profit could go up to rm3500 perday not including the catering orders.
I would only need to continue running the biz as the staff n all will still be there.
My question is, would it be wise to give up my job here in sg, moreover with th high exchange rate right now. Although th profit of the biz is higher compared to my salary here, ive to give up the confortable n safe life here.
Anyone especially running their own biz could advice?

Buying a 2nd hand house

Hi all,

need some of your expert advices here.
Here's the story:

- i was renting a house and decided to buy it as the owner was selling, signed the S&P agreement on May 2010. I was still staying in the house while waiting for the buy/sell to settle.
- my house loan was only approved on October 2010.
- after that, the lawyers were processing all the documentation etc and finally it was all settled August 2011.

Now, from the housing loan, there was suppose to be RM7K balance.
The lawyer fee is around RM4K. So, there should be RM3K balance that should be given to me.
The lawyer now said that, because it took more than a year for all the process to settle, I was charged a late interest which amount to RM10K, on which i should pay to the owner.
But, lawyer said the owner is willing to waive that fee, and i can just forget about the RM3K balance and
consider all settled.

My question is, is there such thing as this late interest stuff? Am I really obliged to pay that? Or should i still fight for the RM3K balance or just let it go?

I'm just asking because I feel like the lawyer has been trying to cheat me since i don't know much about property. moreover, the 1 year delay is not caused by me, but them. and they have never bothered to call me to inform anything. i had to call every time to ask and when they're busy and i asked to call back, they never did.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

[WTF] Contractor to install Ikea kitchen cabinet

Hi all,

I purchased a set of kitchen cabinet from Ikea few days ago.
The problem is Ikea's contractors are all fully booked until mid September.
So i have to find my own contractor now, because i want these cabinets to be installed before hari raya.
Can anyone recommend me contractors (preferably with some experience installing Ikea's stuff) that are available at the moment. I imagine it might be hard to find one since it's festive season.

the work to be done isn't much.
the kitchen cabinet is L-shaped, 178cm x 202cm.

work would include:
- assembly of the cabinets.
- cutting the worktop to fit sink, water trap and tap.

and that's about it. i would do it by myself but i don't have all the necessary equipments.
if anybody has any contacts, please share it with me since i really hope to get this done by hari raya >.<

Is anybody playing this game? I only have the Babel stages left for achievement but i can't get past even the Altar stage. the highest i could climb is 127 steps and then im lost on how to go further. Did i miss something? Can anybody shed a light?

We are just trying to do a research on the gaming market in Malaysia so far.
With all the easy process and cheap deals that we could find online from sites like Play Asia and Super UFO (not to mention the many online seller in LYN), how many of us are still not buying the whole online shopping idea?
How many of us still prefer the thought of going to a physical shop like Gamer's Hideout and Playtime to shop for our games?
How many of us think that our gaming market has tremendous potential but lacks the mean and platform to survive?

Many are quite content with all the resources we are having now but some of us think that all this could be brought a step further. I mean we can do better than what we have here in Malaysia now, right?

Hi all,

yet another maxis problem.
i would like to ask for opinions of people who have faced this before. i read lots of threads like this in here, but nobody write what happened in the end. i assume the problem was settled n TS just abandoned his thread. but i would like to know what happened to all the cases!

ok first of all, im using value plan 50 + unlimited data plan 88. my credit limit is rm100.
my bill last month was rm80. it was reasonable for what ive used i thought.
but halfway through this month, my line got barred. i call maxis n they said that ive exceeded the credit limit,
and that my current unbilled amount is rm303!! i almost fainted on the spot. i argued a lot with the CS personnel but they couldn't give me a break down on what the rm303 is for.

i use my internet merely to receive company's mail. no downloading, only a little surfing. in fact i surfed more the previous month. he said i might have passed the 3GB limit given. hello 3GB is a lot okay receiving mails for 3 weeks could not have used up 3GB!
and needless to say, i dont call or sms a lot.
i read on some thread that unbilled amount only include ur call + sms charges. so data charges is completely irrelevant here, is that correct? anyway i tried this few days ago:

1) checked unbilled amount -> rm303
2) surf on the net for a while.
3) checked unbilled amount the next day -> rm303 still
4) make phone call.
5) checked unbilled amount -> rm304.60

i tried surfing n surfing again but it never add up to the unbilled amount as i checked.
so can we conclude that unbilled amount is just call + sms?

i hope some people who ve experience this could help.
