KUALA LUMPUR, 4 Jun (Bernama) -- Lima penumpang tren Laluan Kelana Jaya cedera apabila tren yang dinaiki berhenti secara serta-merta setelah sistem keselamatan automatik tren diaktifkan petang tadi.

Rapid KL dalam kenyataan memaklumkan insiden berkenaan melibatkan tren bernombor 62 ketika berada berhampiran Stesen Dang Wangi pada 6.07 petang.

Kenyataan itu menyebut insiden berlaku apabila sistem keselamatan automatik tren diaktifkan ketika tren sedang bergerak keluar dari stesen, menyebabkan tren berhenti secara serta-merta sebagai langkah kawalan operasi.

Menurut Rapid KL, pengaktifan sistem itu adalah sebahagian daripada ciri keselamatan tren sedia ada yang direka untuk memastikan sebarang situasi luar jangka dapat ditangani dengan segera.

“Susulan pemberhentian tren secara serta-merta, seorang penumpang yang sedang berdiri dipercayai hilang imbangan sehingga botol air yang dipegangnya terlanggar panel kaca di bahagian sisi tempat duduk. Impak berkenaan menyebabkan panel kaca itu pecah dan serpihannya terkena pada beberapa penumpang yang duduk berhampiran,” menurut kenyataan itu.

Berikutan itu, lima penumpang mengalami kecederaan dengan dua daripada mereka dibawa ke Hospital Kuala Lumpur untuk mendapatkan rawatan lanjut manakala tiga lagi penumpang menerima rawatan di lokasi sebelum meneruskan perjalanan mereka.

Menurut Rapid KL, penumpang lain di dalam tren tidak mengalami sebarang kecederaan dan telah diturunkan di Stesen Damai untuk meneruskan perjalanan menggunakan tren berikutnya.

Kenyataan itu menyebut, sebagai langkah berjaga-jaga dan prosedur operasi standard, tren terlibat telah dikeluarkan daripada perkhidmatan bagi membolehkan pemeriksaan teknikal menyeluruh dilaksanakan dengan lebih terperinci.

Perkhidmatan Laluan Kelana Jaya beroperasi seperti biasa sepanjang tempoh pengendalian insiden berkenaan, namun terdapat pelarasan pada kekerapan tren di beberapa lokasi sementara tren yang terlibat dibawa keluar daripada perkhidmatan.

Rapid KL telah memulakan siasatan lanjut bagi mengenal pasti punca insiden dan akan terus memastikan tahap keselamatan serta keselesaan penumpang sentiasa diberi keutamaan.

“Penumpang dinasihatkan supaya sentiasa berpegang pada pemegang tangan dan berada dalam kedudukan stabil sepanjang perjalanan, khususnya ketika tren sedang bergerak atau menghampiri stesen,” menurut kenyataan itu.

Kepong Bak Kut Teh Attacker Identified As Same Suspect In 2024 Viral Cleaver Assault Case.

One of the men involved in the assault at a bak kut teh restaurant in Kepong last Thursday, 7 May, has been identified as the same suspect who allegedly slashed a victim with a cleaver two years ago
The suspect, 30-year-old memorial centre worker Wan Ken Fei, was charged at the Kuala Lumpur Sessions Court yesterday, 14 May, with voluntarily causing grievous hurt under Section 326 of the Penal Code.

Wan was jointly charged alongside carpenter Wong Weng Luen, 49, and technician Lai Kae Bin, 33. The trio claimed trial to assaulting a man after he reportedly stared at them at the restaurant.

Following the court proceedings, netizens discovered that Wan was also previously involved in an assault on 4 September 2024.

In that case, Wan, who was reported to have been working as a vegetable trader at the time, allegedly slashed then-24-year-old Muhammad Aidiel Zulhilmi Mohammad Yusri with a 32cm-long cleaver, reported the New Straits Times.

He was charged with two offences, causing grievous hurt and possessing a scheduled dangerous weapon in public, which carry prison sentences of more than 20 and 10 years, respectively.

The 2024 incident was also captured on camera, showing him wearing a green shirt while allegedly assaulting a part-time worker during a double-parking dispute at the Pekan Kepong flats
Several videos circulating on social media show Wan striking the victim while bystanders attempt to intervene.

In one clip, a person recording the incident claims that a knife was used during the altercation.

Wan can also be heard in one of the videos saying that the victim had attacked him first.

The victim was later rushed to hospital and required 35 stitches for his injuries.

Have u guys encounter many times eateries shop rejects the bank notes which broken or have tape on it? Wat do u think?
Just now ayam went to 1 kopitiam order kopi ais the lady bos reject 1 of the rm1 notes have tape sealing on the tearing part.. ayam then rejects the drink and move to another shop.
Another shop didnt reject it.

today ayam house just upgraded to unifi 300mbps package
anyone experience using this new unifi router?

- the half baked technician told me 1 LAN port the router design has been reserved for iptv box usage so unable to bypass normal internet, he tried set but unable and said will call me back after figured out. confirm da fella cabut already and will not call back
- and then 1 LAN port (yellow color cable) input has been occupied by the modem incoming lan cable
- so left 2 more (blue color lan cable) for house pc LAN cable connection

cut cost until ini machiam kah lol. save production cost of fitting more extra WAN connection port?

Anyone here have changed myvi 1.5 to aftermarket extractor?
Just changed an aftermarket extractor and fuel consumption increased by 50%
Wondering is it so happens the O2 sensor kong already, or not sure is it due to these aftermarket extractor O2 sensor position is just reading on 1 chamber.
Wondering is it also could be the original manifold have catalytic converter which develops more back preassure towards the O2 sensor. Now is straight free flow ady with 1 chamber reading.
Guess will try swap back to original manifold already..

Current reading now 2 bar = 57km (previously around 90km)

ayam 5 years continental CC5 tyre time to change ady, will not choose back CC5 category as each time drive thru wet road (about 70kmh+-)

In the 1930s and '40s, the Swastika became a symbol for Nazism, forgoing its traditionally Indian origins as a symbol of good luck. It appears Russian President Vladimir Putin has taken a leaf out of Adolf Hitler's playbook and introduced his own wartime symbol - Z. The letter first showed up on Russian tanks and equipment at the beginning of the Ukraine invasion, but has now made its way across not just Ukraine, but the world.

Much like how the letter Q is now synonymous with QAnon, dominating far-right rallies around the globe, it appears Z is now the symbol for Russia's war. The letter was plastered on merchandise including t-shirts by Russia Today and even worn by Russian gymnast Ivan Kuliak at the Gymnastics World Cup in Doha, Qatar. Despite both acts being scorned by the world, the symbol has only popped up in more places since.

Initially, it was believed that the symbol was merely a marking to ensure Russian troops do not fire on their own. Since then, the rumors have only grown as to the real meaning of Z. Some said it stood for Zelenskyy, the target of the war, and others claimed it stood for "the point of no return", indicating there was no turning back for Russian forces. Two weeks into Russia's brutal invasion, we may finally have an answer.

According to the Russian ministry of defense, the symbol stands for "za pobedu" ("for victory" in Russian), but others have also interpreted it to mean "Zapad" (West in Russian). However, it appears that there is a more sinister reasoning behind using the letter, which does not exist in the Russian alphabet. From not even existing a month ago, it has now become the symbol for those loyal to Putin and his regime and visible all over Russia.

So how did that happen? Kamil Galeev, a fellow at The Wilson Centre tweeted, "Let's discuss what's happening in Russia. To put it simply, it's going full fascist. Authorities launched a propaganda campaign to gain popular support for their invasion of Ukraine and they're getting lots of it. You can see "Z" on these guys' clothes. What does it mean?"

In a series of tweets, he then broke down a possible explanation. He says it has become the symbol of "new Russian ideology and national identity" despite being wholly voluntary in most cases. The symbol has since propped up on cars, businesses, and even homes in Russia and around the world as people declare their support for the war. In one case, Russians also made the symbol from the badges of Ukrainian soldiers killed in the war. In another case, children from a hospice were seen forming the symbol as Galeev noted.

It appears Putin is rallying Russian support for the war in Ukraine through the symbol, similar to how Adolf Hitler used the Swastika as a calling card for the Nazis. In fact, the similarities between the Swastika and Z appeared to be quite obvious, as social media and experts began to compare the two as Russia launched its offensive. Many are now calling the Z "the new Swastika", and in fact, it has also been nicknamed "Putin's Swastika" according to Sky News. Those views are being echoed online, as many claim Putin is "trying to create a new fascist empire". If the Swastika was a sign of terror in the 1930s and '40s, it appears Z is in 2022.
