i recently got a Samsung 128GB SSD MSATA PCI-E SSD Hard Drive. However, i realize this SSD is meant to be used in a laptop.

Is there any way to install this SSD into my desktop? the motherboard that im using now is Asrock B75 Pro3-M.

Planning to get xiaomi tv2

Im planning to bring down xiaomi tv2 for cost slight below RM 3k. Just wanna ask if its worth getting it?

Currently using a Samsung 40inch LCD tv. Tv is used for Astro (SD & HD channel), Movies and series from hard drive and ps3

Will the xiaomi have a better overall experience? Or getting a 50inch Full HD tv be a better choice? if so, please advise

HU stopped functioning

Hey Guys,

My Headunit is kenwood KDC-x8016BT, it stopped functioning today. It doesnt start up at all when i start the engine. It was working fine yesterday. I had the unit for a few years already.
can anybody please advise on how to fix it?
Should i send it to a car workshop or kenwood service center or is it dead and buy a new one?

GPU problem?

HI, I just bought a new rig few days ago and it is giving me a problem . After playing games such battlefield 3 and farcry 3 (all max settings) for few hours, the game just crashes and hangs (refer image). It happend a couple of times already. The only thing i can do i just restart the computer.

Could it be a problem with the GPU? GPU temp avg around 70c

Can anyone please help me?

Question about hardware

I just bought a new rig. How do i check the temp of my CPU/GPU and the fan speed? Do i need an application to check these stuff? What other application can i get to help me monitor my hardware?

Hi Guys,

I recently re set up my dad's old Midland Diamond S2 HMP 4100 2:1 speakers. I think its almost 20 years old. I was quite surprised that everything was working and it still sounded quite good.

The only problem i have with it is the 9 Pin DE connecting the amplifier/subwoofer to controller box. I think contact at the head between the cable with amplifier/subwoofer is not good. Even though i turned off the bass at the controller box, the bass is still coming out from the subwoofer on maximum. I have to position the connecter head properly (as in pull the cable up down left right) so that i can control the bass from the controller box.

Could the problem be in the cable (male) or the amp/sub (female)??
Is there a shop where i can service the speakers?

Anyone PLEASE HELP ME!!!

Customizing new destop 2.5-2.7k

Hi Guys, I need some advice on building a new rig. My budget is around 2.5k to 2.7k without the monitor.

Purpose : Games, work research and downloading

Games played are BF 3, SC2, dota 2 (max or high resolution if possible, not really important). More importantly i want it to last for a least 4 years or longer if possible.

Here is what i came up with after looking around

CPU - Core i5 3570 RM620
MOBO - MSI B75MA-P45 RM229
GPU - SAPPHIRE HD7870 XT 2GB D5 256BIT RM769
RAM - Kingston 8GB value RAM RM160
HDD - WD Blue 1TB RM199
PSU - Corsair 550W VS RM199
Casing - any RM150

Total = RM 2326

according to this customization, im still under budget. Should i upgrade the CPU to i7? or GPU? or MOBO? Anything so that i dont have to buy another comp too soon.

i know nuts about about pc specs.
