Greetings and salutations to all,

I'm a Malaysian citizen, my GF and i have decided to marry but she is from HK. She wants to obtain Malaysia PR and i did my google search. This is the quote

Question 1 in bold : Does this mean she has to stay in Malaysia for 5 Years ? without leaving ? no matter what is the reason.

Question 2 in bold : Do i need to apply the long term visit pass ? If so can she leave the country after obtaining the long term visit pass or must stay in Malaysia for 5 years no matter what after obtaining the long term pass ？

Greetings to everyone here in CC and thanks for taking the time to read my story.

Few months ago, i met girl R. I'm a private tutor and she asked for my service. We meet every Saturday for lesson, things were fine in the beginning, but eventually i felt something for her and i didn't tell her at first. She is very kind to me, a person that doesn't pretend and true to the ground and i would say one of the most innocent girl i know.

Fast forward 2 months later, i confessed to her during one of our lessons but she couldn't commit to me due to her BF who is staying in overseas ( He only came back once a year ) I was pretty devastated to know that...anyway, after we are done with the lesson, we went back home and she messaged me things like " miss you " etc and i succumb to the temptation and replied her the same thing as well. Our text messaged were becoming something like what couple would usually do.

Fast forward to last Saturday, we started hugging and kissing in the class ( without anyone nearby obviously ) and holding hands when we went out etc. Until last Sunday while we were out and sending her home later that night, she cried in the car due to it was Father's day and she lost her father few years ago, after comforting her, what comes next hit me like a truck. She told me, we can't do this anymore, she was feeling terrible about doing all these behind her BF back. Her bf knows we talked and messaged each other almost everyday but not the intimacy part... She told me if not because of her BF she would have got together with me, talk about my luck.

Fast forward to yesterday, she told me she wants to take a break from our lessons for 3 months. But i could still look for her at her workplace, she told me she is pretty stressed from this, i quote her " one is here and one is there ", " need to look after 2 hearts " etc I reluctantly agree to let her take 3 months off, since i could still meet her at her workplace if i choose to. Plus, her BF is coming back this Aug, maybe that's why...

Tomorrow will be our last lesson until Oct. Few days ago, i felt terrible , i couldn't eat, and i woke up in the middle of the night, headaches etc But i told myself that i have made my peace, and i wouldn't want to force her to be with me. If she is meant to be she will be. That's what i told myself and i hope i'm just not suppressing the sadness or whatever you call when you go through all these things.

More info about the BF, guy R i will call him, he migrated to overseas when he was little, divorced parents, they met because the father of the guy used to be a customer at girl R workplace. He introduced him to her via phone and they started talking and messaging each other in long distance...they got together after a year and he comes back to see her once a year on her Birthday in Aug.

Currently, i have accepted the fact we can't be together right now and the guy is coming back. Even though it rips me apart inside but what could i do right ? Since i'm what you guys call the 3rd party...

Feel free to ask me any details ( if i could disclose ) or give me advice or feel free to bludgeon me.

Edit : For people who want to know why i don't think her BF is good enough. These are my reasons some might sound ridiculous and you might not agree so please don't be triggered thank you.

1 > " He hates this place " He was born here and migrated abroad 10 years ago, has been a PR ever since. For me, i would stay here just for her if i were him. Where is him when she needs someone to talk to ? a shoulder to cry on ? someone to laugh together ?

2 > Her facebook has their couple picture and even set him as her cover photo. But him, not a single picture of her and just a random cover photo that doesn't mean anything. Not to mention the guy didn't put in a relationship status with her. But she did.

3 > She told me last week they had a fight and she demanded to break with him, all he said was " if you want to break, just say it properly so i don't waste my time " So she didn't contact with him for few days, eventually he called her while we were out and she accepted him back. I hate it when they guy put it that way, it's like he doesn't even care about it.
