Know your Brands

Just thought it would be interesting to discuss origins of products. Spreading the knowledge. At least you know what you are paying for! Here are just a list of stuff that is in my mind right now, feel free to expand it and clarify with each other what you think about certain brands. ( I think this thread is gonna make some corporate company angry as it will probably violate some of their marketing strategy )

Padini & Seed - Do you know this is a local brand? Note the advertising using ONLY "white" models. Really hate the quality of their items. Well that is my personal opinion.

Bonia - Yep this is also a local brand. Never really owned any item by them can't comment.

Raoul - Singaporean brand. Quite expensive stuff considering its a Singaporean brand. Never really owned any item by them can't comment on whether the price is worth its money.

Braun Buffel - Anybody did a search of this brand on google yet? I notice that their target market is only in Aus and Malaysia. Why? I mean isn't it suppose to be a german brand, why nothing in the European market? I am quite skeptical about the brand. This being said, the workmanship and quality of their wallets and bag is parallel to some of the elite brands. I'm actually very curious about the origins of this brand.

Please try to post stuff here when you have the actual knowledge of brands. And please don't be immature and change your thinking into "oh my god its a china/local brand sure suck wan!". This is not my purpose in creating this topic.

Repair Lenovo

No sure whether I am posting this in the correct section but here goes:

I am using a LENOVO Y-450 LAPTOP. The laptop is still under warranty, and my shift key came out. Apparently the blue color plastic thing below the shift key is damaged abit.

Lenovo is asking a hefty sum of RM300 to replace the entire keyboard , saying that this damage is "user damage", which I find quite ridiculous as I am not really a hardcore gamer and I do not temper with my laptop much. Its just a very small damage!

I heard there is a place in low yat that does Lenovo repair (I heard people are able to replace their LCD screen there for a cheaper price). Anybody knows where is this place? Or maybe an alternative to repair my laptop? I've search digi mall but all of them ask me to send back to lenovo.

Rm300 FOR JUST A SINGLE KEY. Ridiculous. Can anybody aid me in this.

DDR in Malaysia

I thought DDR is dead in Malaysia. However...

I've heard there is a Supernova and Supernova2 Machine in Malaysia. As far as my knowledge goes. The supernova machine is in Melaka Jusco Mall there. How bout Supernova2? Anybody have any idea?

I saw this video on youtube "http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wF9DPg0Sl5M"

Maybe somebody can help me identify the whereabouts of the machine.
