My view:
1. Maybe an ammunition for Astro to increase price further.
2. Too many Man U supporters working inside Astro couldn't stand seeing Liverpool winning the champions league this year.
3. Just buang those pundits and/or stop sponsoring their trip to UK stadiums.

What happened to penang?

Visited Penang last week. What I have noticed compared to several years ago is that there are hustles everywhere especially at those tourists area i.e. batu ferringhi.

And the parking spaces are actually legal parking lots that is under mbbp or whatever. What do they think they have the right to collect illegal parking fee?

Give a damn bad impression to tourists only. Thought ipoh or kl is bad enough, but nothing compared to penang. And it's so hard to look for parking spaces in penang. It's either you pay those illegal hustles or pay RM50 fine to LGE.

To those who stays in penang how do you all survive one? Do you all pay those illegal hustles? Or just settle one on one with them?

Inb4 you tak suka you jangan mari penang.

What type of agreement to secure a property price

Dear All,

One year ago, I was keen on purchasing one property, which is a flat.

That time, due to house title issue (house title swapped with another unit on the same floor), I couldn't secure a bank loan. There was an option to buy it with cash, but unfortunately the selling price of RM86,000 is out of my reach.

We rented the place from the house owner at a rate of RM400/month, with the option of purchasing the property at RM86,000 once the title issue is solved.

Recently, the owner told me that they are well on track to solve the title issue (should be settled within few months), however, he said the valuer values his flat at RM90,000 currently, thus he decided to increase the selling price to RM88,000.

At first I was quite angry since he did not keep his promise to sell the flat to us at RM86,000 (i.e. suka suka increase price), but after calming down, I think that extra RM2,000 is reasonable.

My current concern is, how can I ensure that he won't suka suka increase the price again? The RM88,000, like previously, is just by verbal and no black and white.

Do I have to prepare some agreement forms stating the agreed selling price, and ask him to sign for it? Do I have to do this in a lawyer firm? What kind of agreement should I use?

He also asked to pay RM1,000 deposit to show the sincerity in the purchase, which is fine for me. I plan to include that into the agreement too. Meaning if he does not keep his promise again, he will need to refund me 2x the deposit or something like that. Is it possible?

To Blizzard, if you are having so many players complaining about reapers might as well remove them from the game instead of putting so many new noob regulations.

Hi all, I've been watching a lot of replays from some experts. It seemed that in every game both side will know exactly where is the position of their opponent. I've been playing quite a few practice league games now but still having problem figuring out where my opponent's base is.

Is there a way to ascertain the position of opponent without wasting Scanner Sweep (I'm using Terran though). The starting location of both side, is it fixed or different every time?

Windows 7 Gadgets sometime do not load properly

Hi All,

I've encountered this problem lots of times since I switched to Windows 7 (Clean install). Kindly refer to the screenshot below. During normal case, all four gadgets (Clock, Calendar, Weather and Currency) will be displayed during Windows booting (Screenshot 1).

But sometime one of more of the gadgets just will not load (Screenshot 2, the Calendar gadget was not loaded). Right click on the desktop and choose "Gadgets" gave no response.

Anyone encounter similar problem before? Any form of help is highly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

System hang if close router before shutting down

Dear All,

Recently I am experiencing a weird problem after I changed to a new system. Before this, I could close my Prolink H6300G Wireless Router/Modem anytime when Windows was still running. Only the bottom right toolbar will show "A local area connection has been disconnected". I could still continue using my computer.

But with this new system, whenever I close the Router/Modem midway running Windows, the system will freeze. Mouse cursor will not move, keyboard not functioning at all (Pressing Capslock and Scroll lock will not turn on the light). Even Ctrl+Alt+Del won't work.

Strange thing is after I re-switch on my Router/Modem, Windows back to normal again. Meaning to say I must let my system completely shut down before I turn off the Router/Modem.

In another case, if let say I don't switch on the Router/Modem at all before starting up my Windows, this will not cause any freeze to the system. Windows will run normally.

I am wondering whether is this my mainboard LAN problem? Because this didn't happen to my previous ASUS P4P800-X.

Appreciate your help!

Suffering hearing loss problem

Hi all, my friend is currently suffering with hearing loss problem. Latest diagnosis today showed that he has moderate hearing loss problem.

The person in charge of the hearing aid centre recommend him some hearing aid device. But it's quite expensive, even the cheapest one will set him back at RM2000, which is way out of his budget.

The hearing aid device is kinda important for him and his daily job, since he needs to do presentation to his superior and subordinates most of the time, and if the presentation is conducted in a big hall, he will has problem listening to questions asked by the person sitting faraway.

Any expert here can enlighten him on cheaper alternatives on hearing aid device? His budget is only around RM1000 - RM1500. Any shops sell hearing aid device at such price?

"New CPU installed" everytime I switch on computer

Everytime I switch on my computer, at the post screen there will state "New CPU installed, press F1 to SETUP or F2 to load default value".

I didn't change any of my hardwares recently. And this problem only occurred recently. Any solution?

Those members selling things in garage sales didn't put up selling price, instead just put "offer me". This tends to attract a lot of stupid "PM me your best price please" request from other users, leading to countless indirect bumps. This is very unfair especially to those members who had put in expected price. Although some of these threads also will attract those stupid request, but it will be lesser.

I don't understand why those interested buyers don't want to PM seller and ask for best price, but must post them in the thread?

Why don't we set up some rules stating that those who post "PM me best price please" will get a warning?

Hi all, I just used Sisoft Sandra software to analyse my computer hardware. This is what I found from "mainboard" section:

I am using FSP 450 Watt PSU. In Sisoft Sandra, -12V rail shows 4.59V and -5V shows 0.48V. Is this normal? How come they differ so much from the rated voltage?

Hope someone can enlighten me on this. Thanks.

Rename file name automatically

Hi all, if I remember correctly there is one way to automatically rename all the file name in one certain folder by number order by just renaming 1 or two file name, and then by pressing certain combination of key, all other files will be renamed accordingly.

For example, in "My Pictures" folder there are 100 files inside. It will take a long time if I have to rename the first file from DSCN 1062 to "1.jpg", second file from DSCN 1063 to "2.jpg" and so on. Therefore I wish to just rename the first and second file, and other file will be renamed following number order.

I have searched through Google but to no avail. Anyone know how to do this? Thank you for reading

Windows could not start coz ntoskrnl.exe missing

Hi all.

Just now while I was using MS Word with my computer, it suddenly hang (no blue screen of death, just hang there and there is continuous beep sound coming from casing) and I was forced to restart my computer by pressing restart button on the casing.

The system could not boot into Windows and this screen come out:

Windows could not start because ntoskrnl.exe file is missing or corrupted.

After several restart, I managed to boot into Windows, but after several minutes my keyboard was not functioning, and I tried pressing Capslock and Numlock key to see whether it responds, but it did not. Windows hang again after that.

Now it is working like normal without any problem, but sometime the above problems will come back haunting me again. Anyone ever experiences the same thing, or knows what is the cause?
