Dispute against sweet_carte (a.k.a elewholesale)

brian_chai — Thu, 04 Dec 2014 21:33:26 +0800

Complaining against: sweet_carte (a.k.a elewholesale)

Item being sold/bought: 3 sets of Mi TV2 (c/w soundbar, subwoofer and 3D glasses (customized version, with english, and compatible with local tv channels here)

*price ALREADY includes import tax, overseas & local Poslaju postage. NO extra charges incurred.

Original thread link: https://forum.lowyat.net/topic/2385332

Date of transaction: 25th July 2014

Details of the complaint :

On the 25th of JULY 2014, i have made full payment of RM7950.00 to sweet_carte to order 3 sets of Mi TV2. Initially, i was promised the delivery will take place somewhere in mid of September- beginning of October 2014.

I was told again on 26 September 2014, that due to kastam issues on both china and Malaysia side. The items will have to be delayed again to end of October 2014.

On the 23rd of OCT 2014, i was again disappointed with the news that the items have sent back to china from Malaysia and then double back again by air freight to Malaysia and i will get my items within 27 November - 4th December 2014 indefinitely.

All in all, i did say to them i will not be able to tolerate any delay later than 4th dec 2014. However, on the 1st of dec 2014,i was informed via email that i will only get the items sent to me on this coming 5th dec 2014 saturday 11am-12pm.

I've been very forgiving in letting them set all the delivery dates them-self. However, i am very dissatisfied with their customer service as most of the time i have to email them to ask for updates. Having to wait a few days for them to reply and these few days of silent can do more harm with fear of them fleeing with my money.

I was too rejected the request for a full refund until the items arrive i will pay them in full cash on delivery. Finally, when the promised date is near, when i ask for an update they say otherwise. I don't even have a telephone no to call or an address to look for them.

On the 1st of December, I requested sweet_carte to have someone in charge to call me in person to explain what was the final held up, no 1 dare to reply me even personal message or email until this moment.

To make things interesting, i am very sure there are other cases like mine too. At least I am in contact with 1 of them.

So admin what do u advice me to do?

Regards,
Brian
