Mechanical Floor/Level

Just would like to know if anyone had bad experience on living a unit below or upper of mechanical floor?

Is there a problem of heating, noise or etc that you never think of?

I plan to choose unit below this floor knowing that I would not got a problem of leaking neighbour who don't want to fix theirs. Hope anyone can share their thought. Afraid of any other bigger concern that I should be aware of.

Boom Gate for Resident Area

I'm planning to push for boom gate and access card to my community.
May I know anyone had experience in setting this up.
What the criteria that I'm should looking for and also budget needed for setting a good boom gate.

The purpose configuration as picture below, with additional manual gate for both side for non-resident/visitor.

Request for Wiring & Piping Plan

Dear all,

Would like to ask for our house, single storey/ double storey / condo, its useful to get wiring, piping and ceiling plan for renovation purpose. Can we ask this plan from the developer?

Anybody has an experienced in obtaining this plan as our SnP only had floor plan, front, side and back diagram.

Would the plan be useful for ID or contractor to do their job?

Hello guys/gurlz,

First, forgive me if I should not make a new thread.
Search already, but hopefully by dedicating a new thread will give some fresh new answer.

I've just bought a house which is still under construction. I want to know which additional electrical work might be better to build while the house in still under construction.
I'm afraid applying certain electrical work only after completion of house will cause unnecessary difficulty.
Below is the list of additional electrical work by developer which is optional;

Since budget is limited, can anybody help me compile the list into 3 group depending on which is more crucial to have?
The term use on this form is quite confusing for me, might be I'm not really understand it.

p/s: I'm planning to put both fan and aircond.

TFT LCD Panel (display) Notebook black area/spot

Well, although i rarely use my notebook, but suddenly i found the monitor display has a black spot.
Since its happen to be on the task bar, its quite troublesome for me to use the notebook as before.

I just wonder if anyone has the same problem.

I would like to know too, if anyone know estimate cost to repair the display.

Since i bought the notebook for around RM 1700, its still economical to repair the display or just get the new one? .
