No job, no income, everything he has was bought with my mother&#39;s money, including his drugs. I don&#39;t have a job either but at least I pay for my own addiction (games).<br /><br />Anyway, for as long as I can remember, he&#39;s been a junkie. He got caught, jailed/rehab, release and do drugs again. For over 20 years. When he got high, he mengamuk, he breaks things, throw things, KICK KITTENS, make my mother cry. Up until I was 18, I just hide in the corner, afraid. When I was 18, I had enough and exploded with rage, and we fought. But nothing changed. He learned from his mistakes every time he got arrested—no he didn&#39;t learn to stop doing drugs. He learned how to avoid getting arrested. Nowadays he can do drugs, I call the cops, they pick him up, and less than an hour later, he walks out free, his urine test is clear, even though he&#39;s merepek in front of the cops that anybody who saw it will swear on their parents&#39; grave that he&#39;s high on drugs. But no, for some reason, his urine test is clear. <br /><br />That&#39;s problem 1. Problem 2 is, he steals my stuff. But we never have any evidence and he won&#39;t admit it, just like he won&#39;t admit to doing drugs while shooting drugs up in his vein in front of me (this was when I was 16, so no recording as evidence). When I go to report him for theft (my cellphone or ps2 or speakers), the cops will either dismiss it as &quot;brother borrow without telling&quot; or file it and doesn&#39;t follow up because there&#39;s no way to prove that he did steal it, even though there&#39;s no other toyol in the house. Nothing that he did criminally can be proven so I can&#39;t go to cops.<br /><br />17 days ago, things got so bad. My mom retired, so she&#39;s home all the time, and the junkie got high. He picked up fights about anything and everything. When my mom relent and give up to end the fighting, he picks another topic. That day alone she cried 4 times from 9 am to 6 pm. She had to listen to him yell at her. What was I doing? I sat in my room, because my mom begged me not to interfere. She&#39;s afraid that I would go &quot;too far&quot; and get jailed for murder. But around 6 pm that day, I went outside my room to get water from the fridge, and saw him kicking my kitten out of rage. Angry kick, not a soft foot nudge. Full blown kick that got the kitten hiding for hours. I snapped and yelled profanities at him and he tossed me a knife, he told me that if I hate him that much, I should just stab him. He do this every time we fought, and every time either I don&#39;t have the balls or my mom would swoop in and assuage me to relent. Alas that day, I was so deep in rage I just pushed through my mom and almost committed murder. Luck was on my side that the knife was a flimsy thin metal sheet, so it snapped. And I managed to put fear into the junkie that day so he probably won&#39;t try tempting me to do it again. Anyway, that bought me like 2 weeks of peace.<br /><br />Today I woke up and my electric shaver set is missing. Junkie stole it. It was on my computer desk, so I know I didn&#39;t misplaced it. Besides, the whole case is gone, the whole set. So I went to steal his tv (not to sell, to hold on to till he pays me back for my shaver) but my mom begged me to not do it because she don&#39;t want another stabbing incident. She said she&#39;ll buy me a new one, but it&#39;s not about the shaver, it&#39;s about sending a message. She&#39;s been covering for him ever since I was little. So I asked her, what&#39;ll happen when he stole my 20k computer (I got it as a gift, I&#39;m not rich, hence why I post this here instead of asking a lawyer)? She said she&#39;ll pay me back using her pension. I don&#39;t want that. But I also need my computer. I don&#39;t want to stab him and go to jail, but I also want him out of my life. Moving is expensive especially when I don&#39;t have a stable income. I can&#39;t get a job other than manual labor, and my body is too weak for it (I tried.)<br /><br />Is there any legal way at all to kick him out of our lives? I&#39;ve had to deal with him since I was 6, now I&#39;m 28 and nothing changed. He still drove me up-the-wall insane, costing me money and opportunities in life (oh right, my college fund went to funding his drugs. 4k in a month. That&#39;s why I don&#39;t have a diploma or degree). Just before I tried to stab him, I was in writing a book, received a ton of criticism to improve it, had my creative juice flowing in my brain. Then after that fight, nothing. No ideas, my creatively dead again. I&#39;m slowly losing my mind, I&#39;m stressed and depressed, I can&#39;t rely on cops that were supposed to protect me and my mom, I&#39;ve gotten suicidal but thankfully I still think life is worth living as long as that piece of trash is out of my life, but honestly I&#39;m scared of the day when I finally give up on life and commit murder-suicide.
