Dilemma of a Uni-Student-to-be

IYori — Thu, 04 Feb 2010 20:46:15 +0800

Hi, forumers, after a few decision making, i decided to throw aside my plan to take up Mechatronic/Robotic Engineering. The reason is simple. I am poor in Math, and a few look up into those engineering book told me it wasnt meant for me. (I just flip through few pages, looking at those equation and electronics stuff & i just close the books). Maybe, I just don't like Engineering.

So, I took a look at other options and now I am able to narrow them down to Psychology & Bio-related courses.

The problem now, is which Bio course should I take and which University, should i attend for both Psychology and the Bio course?
Does anyone has any method to find out which Bio major is suited for me?

(I also search for Neuroscience/Neurology course but cant seem to find them in any uni? Is Neuroscience & Neurology same by the way?)

Thanks in advance alot for your advice.

IYori — Tue, 19 Jan 2010 17:50:54 +0800

A few days ago, I read that there's difference between Mechatronics Engineering and Robotics Engineering, in terms of the detail of the sub-subjects.
The question is, should i be worried, whether to take which one?
And is there any University that offers Robotics Engineering (not Mechatronics)
Thks for the help .

Hi, I'm an STPM leaver but plan to use my SPM cert. I don't think I would be able to get exemption on any subject though.
What are the options that I have?
Could you guide me through either an engineering or biology path?
I am keen on both. Not yet decide whether to choose which yet. Thanks smile.gif
