Planning to build a fund for investment

Dear All Sifu,

My fren was planning to build up a fund by getting constant monthly contribution from a group of friend and the money will be use for investment purposes like doing business, stock and etc. The profit or loss will be shared based on the ratio contributed by particular person.

Lets say the investment or business was getting a good profit after one or two years and then some shareholder want to increase their monthly contribution, how are we going to calculate the ratio of profit that the new increase monthly contribution amount will get? As for stock investment by mutual fund is easier because they got NTA but in this case most likely the investment we got will be small business and it was hard to measure its market value.

Does anyone got any experience on this?

Water Leaking from floor above

Dear Expert,

Currently I am facing problem with water leaking from the floor above me and it was affecting the exterior of my wall.
We had informed the owner about this but he still did not fixed it.
Does anyone got any idea how to handle this problem?
It was a low cost flat so we dun have management commitee like the those condo, but we only got those commitee that only know how to collect maintenance and quit rent and cant help on this.
Hope can get some advice on this.
