Opening oil dealership

Dear friends,

I am opening a Q8 and torco oils dealership near Gombak. After going through lots of forums I feel people want to buy these kind of oils using COD or online as the prices offered online are much cheaper. I want to enter more markets but as I am staying in KL I can only cater to CODs in or around KL but not in places like Penang/Johar etc where there is a good market for such oils.

I would like to know how can I penetrate these markets without using postal/courier service which will be expensive and not serve the purpose of cheaper online product.

Also what other marketing options should I take to capture a bigger market share?

Twin towers fitness center is offering a group discount if 5 or more people join in a group. The normal price is 175RM(joining fees) and 150 per month. If 5 people join in a group we can get a group discount. The group discount rate is 100RM(joining fees) and 120 per month. The minimum commitment period is 3 months. I am looking for people who can come and join along with me. They have sports facilities like squash court, futsal court etc along with a state of the art gymnasium.

Importing from India

I plan to import some items (perishable food items) to Malaysia. I have following queries:

1. Do I need to have an import/export license?

2. Do I need to have a sdn. bhd. registered company or a sole proprietorship is fine? Please note that I am an expat.

3. How much is the tax/octroi on food items?

4. Anyone knows any forwarding agents who have already imported from India for their clients?

Dear friends,

I am planning to start a SaaS(Software as a Service) website to allow individuals to design their own website. I would like to know if given an opportunity how many of you would be interested in building your own websites? The software used will be very professional and will have 1000+ templates. Also it as easy as using this forum. Make note that you can develop a shopping cart with all payment options like paypal etc.

What would be the best price to charge for this service? One time( 500 RM including domain name registration) or a monthly ( Around 40 RM)?

Cheapest way to send money to China?

Dear friends,

Please guide me how to pay suppliers in China? I made one payment of 200 USD and charges were 100 RM. So next time I paid in RMB equivalent to 120 USD but the charges were 68RM through Western Union. Also for paypal the charges are 20 USD extra. This eats up most of my profits. How do I deal with it? Is there any other legal way to make such transfers?

Nowadays everyone is looking for a career in IT but what about the many people who are not trained in IT. Can they be part of the IT gold rush?

Software testing is the only career in IT which allows people from non IT background to be part of software companies. Statistics show that for every 3 developers 1 tester will be required. With so many developers testing is the next safest option due to the below reasons:

- No need to update software language as domains never change only languages do.
- Shortage of software testers as no formal education institutions cover it.
- Demand will always be higher as more and more processes are automated.

Online bank transfer

Dear friends,

Lately I tried to discover the simplest/cheapest way to collect payments from online shoppers. All banks require a proper company to be setup and other operators like paymybills etc require a deposit. Also both charge a service charge of 4% minimum. How do they expect the seller to earn when they want to scrap him of all his profit?

Is there any method to make a fast payment(not the old conventional where I give my account number and ask the buyer to sms/email me the reference number)?

Dear friends,

I plan to start a virtual office concept for all the online sellers to come and display their goods/services to prospective customers. The sellers need to become members and pay a small monthly fees. The customers will have a place to come and check the goods before buying. All the samples can be stored for the prospective customer to come and try at his own convenience.

I have checked a place around a famous lrt so as to allow all the people to conveniently come at their sweet time.
