good co-axial vs cheap co-axial digital cable?

good co-axial vs cheap co-axial digital cable? is there really a different? i thought digital mean the sound is always transfer in 1 and 0, is there a difference in good 1 and 0 vs bad 1 and 0.

i put two cable to test and can't hear a difference. i do understand there might be cases where some spike noise but i wonder how much different that make to a good DAC. doubt even more when we use ASIO 2.0

Good results = medicine?

Alright so I've just gotten my CIE A level results, it's 5As(Chem, Bio, Phys, Maths and General Paper).

I'm obviously satisfied with the result and I manage to secure a place in NTU to study Physics.

However, everyone around me shrugged their heads when they heard that I am going to study Physics, everyone thinks that I should get a MBBS, because the job is very lucrative after.

I understand that doctors make a lot, and there are a lot of doctors out there that ain't really passionate in medical field and they still make a lot.

I am quite undecisive now as people are telling me "Hey money first, interest later!"

Should I try to become a doctor? I'm very interested in Physics and I plan to study until PhD level, and I would really like jobs that do researching works, but it's really discouraging as no one actually supports me to pursue my dream. As for medicine, I don't think I'm that interested in it...

I hope this thread can bring some discussions and at the same time helps me with my future

Example in Add.Math TextBook form 5 on Probability

here is the question, i hav discussed with my teacher, and also my friends, my teacher says tat tis question is wrong and so as i and my friend
i will post the question here and hope to get u guys opinion on this, it is an Example to shows how to solve tis kind of problem

A survey was conducted on 100 students to find out about their leisure activities. The survey revealed that 64 students listen to music, 40 students watch television and 51 students indulge in at least one of these two activities. Find the probability that a student, chosen at random,

a)listen to music and watch television

Solution given

Let M be the set of students who listen to music, and T be the set of students who watch television. Hence,
n(S)=100
n(M)=64
n(T)=40
51 students indulge in at least one of these activities. They indulge in either one or both the activities. Therefore, n(M U T)=51

a) As n(M U T)=n(M) + n(T) -n(M intersect T)
51=64+40-(M intersect T)
n(M intersect T)=53

here's my question, how can n(M intersect T) (means the students indulge in both activities) exceed 40 and 51? since there is onli 40 students watch television and onli 51 students are doing activities according to the question

hope someone can enlighten me
