Are "Penunggu" Real?

Recently saw some videos on YouTube from a channel about former police officers finding/recording/sharing cases about people who went missing the their (USA) forests. Some of those cases can say no possible logical explanation.

Suddenly I remembered about our own local forest and the things they used to tell us in primary/secondary school to always "respect" when in the forest.

Don't anyhow pee anywhere, don't call names of your friends, don't curse etc etc. During school trips and in forest, doesn't matter believe or not. Just follow and comply. Then come back to city and don't believe because safe from forest lol.

I thought this was just somewhat fairytales to our local forests. But now watching those youtube videos at USA, it sounds like maybe the forest do have spirits. Maybe different location different race different names, but same thing?

Saw the trailer on YouTube a while back. Quite interesting. So this week managed to go watch at cinema.

Came out at end of movie not knowing how to feel about it. Mixed confused emotions. The ending part quite visual also and sleep also bad dream about it.

Basically they are saying the % "success rate" of all different kinds of vaccine is not even the most important thing to compare when choosing which vaccine. Very good video.

GEORGE TOWN: Police have recorded statements from 10 people, including three "witnesses", over an alleged plane crash at sea near Pulau Tikus, fronting the Flamingo Hotel, in Tanjung Bungah here, on Sunday.

Northeast district police chief Assistant Commissioner Soffian Santong said more individuals will be called in for questioning as the investigation into the case progresses.

He said of the 10 people interviewed, only three, in their 50s, claimed to have witnessed the 'incident'.

"The trio, who were sitting 20m apart from one another, alleged to have seen an object, like a black matchstick box, falling from the sky before crashing at sea. They said something which looked like a balloon appeared before the object sank. However, they said they could not determine if they had seen the aircraft's wings.

"Three of them gave almost similar accounts of the incident, which is why we can't just dismiss the matter.

"The investigation is ongoing to determine the authenticity of the claim. However, the search and rescue (SAR) operation will only resume when we have new leads," he said at the northeast district police headquarters here today

He added that the witnesses were sitting about one to 1.5km from the site of the purported crash.

Police were alerted on Sunday afternoon that an aircraft had crashed into the sea near Pulau Tikus. Preliminary information suggested that it could have been a private aircraft.

A search and rescue (SAR) mission, comprising Marine police, the Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (MMEA), the Fire and Rescue Department, and the Civil Defence Force, was immediately activated after the report was received at about 2pm.

However, until 6.30pm yesterday, nothing was found.

A privately-owned helicopter was flying along the path at the time of the alleged incident. But Soffian today confirmed that the helicopter had safely landed in Subang after flying in from Kedah.

He said police had also checked with the Civil Aviation Authority of Malaysia (CAAM), which confirmed that they had not received any report of missing aircraft or a crash.

"Until 11am today, no one has come forward to lodge any missing persons report.

"The marine police have also interviewed several fishermen; while we interviewed several beach boys (who are usually very alert), but none had seen anything," he added.

Social media has been abuzz over claims by a man who said he saw the plane crash.

He said the incident happened very fast, and he saw smoke coming out from the aircraft before it crashed into the sea.

Wisdom tooth surgery advise

Lately mouth pain from wisdom tooth. Just realised it gradually in past few days, but getting worse. Looks like need to see dentist around Damansara soon.

Anyone have recommended dentist to see? How much typically does it cost?

If can delay until next month can? Will the pain be gradual or suddenly pain like crazy in few days time?

Durian Story at Raub Illegal Land

I think most bangsa C tak kesah one this way or that for most things.

But when it comes to money. It gets real, real fast.

Touching the durian matters at Raub hills is a whole different level.

Maybe somewhere, someone is having the discussion: "Nevermind, let them grow the trees first. When you free and happy and need money, then go remind them they are squatters on gomen land. Get to do your work + free durian + free durian trees."

Looks like this issue is gonna be a long one.

Elderly friendly waterfall picnic place around KL?

Growing up my parents us to bring us to go waterfall around selayang there. Park car, light jungle tracking then sit by river to picnic + home cooked meehon as lunch.

Now for my dad's birthday present, I'm thinking of bring my parents to go back to waterfall picnic again. Half day trip.

Can I ask, for those who knows or avid nature river hunter/visitor, which waterfall is easy for family to access on weekday (avoid all the mountain hiking ie Hulu Langat and avoid major river crossing like Chilling falls) that I can bring my parents to go family picnic again ya? Ideally those that still have some proper nature trees and nature path to walk through.

How was your most recent experience there?

Carpark ok? Some I heard got cases of break windows.

Location Rawang/Selayang/KKB/Ampang (north to east) would be ideal. Semenyih too far, and we've been to Tekala one too already.

P/s: parents in mid 60's. Not that old, but not young either.

What Happened To AAM Malaysia

Anyone here used to use AAM malaysia service? My family have been using for many years. I think recent years the last time I went, they said to renew membership pay for 2 years free 1 year total 3 years for price of two. I happily accepted it thinking what a bargain.

Then months later AAM disappear. Bankcrupt or chaplap or what.

Suddenly realized I don't know how to renew car insurance now that it's due manually lol.
