Dear Ms Moderator, please read through and help direct me to the right forum IF this isn't the correct place for this discussion. Thanks!

First, a little bckground.
I'm new here @ LYN.
I used to have an online shop selling clothes, bags and accessories but closed shop due to lack of time to look for new stocks.
So i have some leftover stocks to clear, hence why I decided to list them on LYN. It's like the perfect market place for buyers and sellers to come together
I also have some pre-loved items to get rid of on top of the Brand New stocks.

However, i'm not trying to sell anything in this thread.

The reason i started this topic is to get some input or advice.

being a new member, of course it's hard for people to trust me as a seller right?
perfectly understandable.
which is why I highly recommend COD in my {WTS} threads for first time buyers from me.
so they don't have to pay in advance just in case they're afraid i won't deliver the goods.

still I find it quite difficult to sell.
I would just like to find out why.
in case i'm doing something wrong.

i'd appreciate if you could help answer some of my questions below
though you are free to add ur thoughts on this matter. please do share any tips you may have

1. is COD not enough to protect buyers from getting tricked (fraud)?
2. i've been asked if i accept 'payment thru reloading money to hp'. i have no idea what this is. how is that any protection against fraud?
3. what do you look for when window shopping @ LYN?
for me, i look for cheap prices, real photos of the items, free delivery, hassle-free, COD, items in good condition?
what about you? what else?
4. i've stated that my prices are negotiable despite having put low prices in the first place, it still doesn't seem to attract buyers.
is it simply that my items are not in demand?
5. or is it the fact that i'm a noob that deters potential buyers?
6. OR do i just have to wait it out? experienced LYN sellers, does it take a while before someone grabs your items?
