Laptop Recommendation Needed

Hello everyone. I am absolute noob at IT & all those computer techie terms sounds like alien language to me loll so i urgently need your help as I really need to get a new laptop asap. So,really hoping you guys can help me out to decide which brand&model out of the kazillion out there to get haha.

1. Brand - Open to any suggestions. But not too favourable towards Acer(bad history with it.Dont know about the newer models nowdays), HP&Compaq(Have to send to HQ if got problems).

2. Budget - Below 2K. On a tight budget,so cannot exceed 2k unfortunately.

3. Main usage- Watching shows/movies, Music, general online purposes.

4. Preference - Good sound quality(Extremely important), Doesnt overheat easily(As i sometimes have to leave it on for long hours to download shows), good battery life, lightweight(preferably but not too important).

5. Size- Min 13"

Hi guys. I am at a MAJOR crossroad right now and I just want to ask for some feedbacks/opinions on my current situation.

I'm a fresh graduate who just got 2 job offers this week. I'll specify the details below:

Company A:
Location: Subang
Salary offered: RM2000
Public holidays and Annual leave: 14 days each
Other benefits/allowance: none
Size/establishment of company : Moderate/Malaysia-based
Working days: 5.5 days (but Alternate saturdays)
Working hours: 9 hrs weekdays/4 hrs saturdays
Nature of job: R&D.

Company B:
Location: Sg. Buloh (But they're moving to Puncak Alam near Meru next year)
Salary offered: RM2200
Public holidays and Annual leave: 8 days each
Other benefits/allowance: none
Size/establishment of company: Family-owned company. Pretty small with few staffs but their main customers are big names in the food industry.
Working days: 5.5 days (Every saturday)
Working hours: 9hrs weekdays/ 5 hrs saturdays
Nature of job: QA/QC.

So..here's the thing. I have to give an answer to Company A in 2 days and to Company B in 3 days time. In terms of location, it is not a big factor as Company B will be moving next year much nearer to where i am. In terms of salary, Company B definitely wins but has very poor benefits as its quite a small company.Besides that, the fact that I have to work EVERY saturday is quite a major downside for Company B.

Another issue is, I have also went for 2 interviews in 2 other companies recently (Let's call them Company C and Company D). Company C is a very big,well-known MNC company. They will only get back to me 1-2 weeks later. Company D is also a very well known brand but not as big as the former. I have a 2nd interview with Company C this Friday and I think i might get to find out more about the salary and benefits. But location wise, it is much nearer to my place (Shah Alam).

So my question is...if you were in my position, what would you do?
