Cordless phone causing DCs

Modem: TM/Streamyx modem 1MB/s
Router: DLink
Firewall used: Windows

Problem details
First occurence of problem: Disconnection when cordless phone is picked up
Problem frequency: ALWAYS happens.
Problem description: So guys, there's 2 cordless phones in my house and picking either one will guarantee disconnection. Since the cordless phones aren't attached with phone cables I can't get regular ADSL splitters on them like the other wired phone I have. Any suggestions please? My bad if there's a thread of a similar problem elsewhere, couldn't find one

Help ! Screen freezes regularly.

My computer screen freezes but some programs still work when the screen freeze. Like when it freezes im still on a skype call with my friends. I have no idea whats causing the problem, but my cpu gives out a "beep" sound everytime the screen freezes. I also have problems restarting my PC, sometimes the screen freezes during boot up, but sometimes it gets me to windows, and then freezes when it feels like freezing, really randomly. Help pls!

Musical scales [Guitar]

Alright, for what I know: Scales are a family of notes played in sequence to go from an octave higher/lower to an octave lower/higher. Also people use them represent harmonies/melodies or do improvisations with scales for solos.

Question is, which is for which? I'm interested in scales used for alt-rock or metal. Any particular scales to look for? Also, anyone know how they actually improvise with scales? Brief description/link to elsewhere will do.

Any helpful replies wud be appreciated :3

iPhone touch screen issue

Alright, I wonder whether does anyone have this problem before...

For some unknown ungodly reason, when I'm playing a game which has a "control pad" on the screen, placing 2 fingers on the screen seems to trigger every button(or near to every button) on the screen. Any hints on why this happened?

I'm suspecting it's because I wipe my iphone's screen protector with wet cloth :\

Any helpful replies will be gladly appreciated, thanks in advance

Is pop music too commercialized?

Well, the definition of pop(popular) is something that is "in trend", hence to reach that effect, it must be commercialized and marketed till majority of people would buy or at least listen to it.

Now, commercializing isn't all that bad; but the focus here is whether artists overdo it. As some might remark, most pop artists rely on sex appeal to publicize and market their songs.

So I wanna hear your opinion as a musician. Since I'm in college right now, I'll be checking in soon after. As usual, have fun debating, not arguing or flaming

Zvex pedals

Ok basically I'm trying to find a zvex fuzz probe / fuzz factory. Yes I understand their status of being a boutique pedal and hence the crazy price tags but question is: does anyone sell them?

I'm not afraid to admit, I still count myself a beginner but since I'm really into that...Muse sort of sound, zvex FF/FP is a must. Will practice lots with it and annoy my sisters, promise xD

I'll appreciate it if you can list the prices and/or contact details associated with the retailer. Thanks. Recommendations towards either/others pedal are welcome, with some reasoning of course.

Asaban is the combination of the Japanese kanji, Asa( 朝 ) and Ban( 晩 ), meaning "Day" and "Night" respectively, to represent the fusion of Japanese modern visual culture with traditional culture.
