Somehow, being pessimistic makes me review every single thing that I do is not perfect. And not letting my hopes too high on something (exam grades, etc) so that I won't get disappointed that will drag me down if my goal failed. I also believe hyping too much on something is a bad idea.

Brands vs Hardware

I am going to buy a laptop tomorrow , but I still can't decide which one. But I want to ask several forumers here, is brand of a laptop is important to be considered or can be ignored? Or you just find a laptop that have the highest performance within your budget?

I mean, an acer laptop that costs RM2000 which has more features and hardware performance than another RM2000 Vaio laptop. It's a no brainer right? Wh don't we just buy the acer laptop? Does branding really matter?

But then someone will said "my father (or auntie, relative, brother, jiran) bought acer laptop. bad quality, easy to broke, low quality ...etc"

So anyone can gve their views on this matter. Right now i'm looking for samsung NP300V4A. is Samsung any good in laptops? I heard that most Samsung brands breakdown easily except their fabulous smartphones.

Help me recall title of a drama

I don't know how where to post this, I think /k/ might help me.
Need to recall some drama series aired on tv3 in 2005-2007. It is chinese drama, but I forgot the title.

I really need to know the title, so I can watch this again.

The first one is about the protagonist who wanted to be a captain like his brother. His brother is the top captain piloting boeing. He goes to train to be pilot with his brother. They fought a lot of times, usually because of ego and the protagonist a bit "naughty". They traveled to all countries like france, australia, etc. Basically it's about family relationship+airline company. I don't remember much about the ending.

Second one is about a cop in 2007. He found an osem old phone (a brick phone) and finds out that he can call his father back in time. His father is ALSO a cop back in 1970, and they worked together to solve crimes in their own times. Really cool story though. Last episode I watched is the protagonist is going to be killed and his father in 70's tried to call him many times. Not remember the ending, I missed the finale because I alredi transferred to boarding school.

Oh yeah, these shows always aired at 6.00pm-7.00pm.

Need help, I got memory lost.
