Here it goes......

I just sold 80gb hdd and 478 mobo to a forumer. We dealed through postage and the buyer bank in on 18th @ RM160 or 170 i bun remember for the both item....

Item was packed into a large postbox with the mobo inside plastic bag,and i put lots of news paper to protect th mobo....due to i dun have the ori box for the mobo...

item received on 26th due to my wife use pos parcel not pos laju..

item was tested in very2 good conditions n pins were broke, no d caps, n can boot normally...this i can proof coz got few witneses tat with me when im testing the mobo..

then later the buyer send me an sms with a rude word and asing me for a refund..

My situation is this.....

i have a note book tat cannot add a cdrom...or either uses a external rom...
how do i want to format it?.....try formating on a desktop...but its hang afta bios...

do suggest me how do i want to format this thing...plss...

Yo there., I just want you all give me opinion and help please.

I have sold my p4 2.4ghz to seller: ebeli.
Yesterday he called me asking for refund I said ok and come to my house. We agreed both to tested and the processor is faulty.

So he did came and check with me and yes the processor is faulty.
And yes I already refund him back and the fishy thing is he said he didn't bring the heatsink that came with my unit. He bring the an original stock P4 heatsink.

At that time I'm not sure that the processor is the same cause I don't remember the stepping cause its my friend item.

After that my friend came back he said that the processor is not his.
Also he stated that the processor not is not same.
He advice me also state that in case of anything he rembered last 4 processor no.

I already talk to him(ebeli) nicely about this case. Asking him to refund and item is not mine but my friend. He refuse and claimed I made the story up. Haih

One more important thing I have already test the item before I cod with him and I got few witnesses that saw the processor runs and boot...

Yo. I juts bought a MSI 7900GTO, they say in a review it can easily modded flash to 7900GTX with 15% increase in performance. If anybody done this, please give me some tips and know how. A bit afraid it will ruin my lovely new card.

I have the Intel 2200GB card, but most of these instructions should be the same for all cards:

Go to Start->Right Click My Computer->Properties->Hardware->Device Manager.

This pulls up the Device Manager Window. From there, expand the Network Adapters section and right click on (in my case) Intel Pro/Wireless 2200BG Network Connection. Select Properties. Now another window pops up.

Select the Advanced Tab, go to the Property pull down menu (middle on the left) and select "Power Management." Now a slider to the immediate right will become enabled. Un-check "Use default value" and slide that bar all the way over to "Highest" on the value slider. Hit OK on all windows to close them out.

You have just set up the notebook to send the maximum amount of allowed power to the internal notebook card.

I've done that, and was able to receive WiFi signals in the basements of buildings were other people could not get a signal. The results for you may differ, but that would be the first step in increasing your reception.

Tested on HP NC 6220, works great.

Im planning to buy one, and upgrade from my existing V3010AU.
More toward strategy games nowadays, and the DV6126 is simply irrestable.
Sad thing is not using X1600 that is far faster.

So my question is, how good is GeForce 7400?
Any user here? Please comment.

Hi.

Im buying a xmas present for my girl, and actually I already buy perfume.
I just think she needs a new phone and wanna make her happy. Trying to get back with her. So this question or pool is kinda qrucial for me. My girl is like the elegant and cute type, I wanted to buy walkman phones like W850i/W810i but I know she dont like those kinda phone and colours. Only left for me are these 2 phones.

Both also have exactly the same specs, only one is candybar and one is clamshell.
Red do have the elegant touch and pink its just so cute.

How often we change phones?

Well in the age of technologies and geeks... like we all ehmm ehmmm.
We love to stay updated with the current technologies, style and bragging rights.

So please do tell us how often you guys change phone.
What is the reason of the changes. How much you allocate per month for changing.
Cash or card? Do you guys feel worth it or not? Or any reason of denial?

Other satisfaction and reason. List down also the phone that you guys been swingging for the past 1>2 years time.

I myself, have been changing phone on a monthly basis,

Reason: Love to play phones and crazy (especially when no Gf).

Limewire setting, Help.

Have you called your ISP's helpline?: Wont help me in Limewire

Personal equipment
Modem: Aztech 600E & ZTE 831 V4.1
Router: Same as above
Firewall used: Bitdefender (Configured Properly)

Problem details Limewire dosent connect most of the time
First occurence of problem: From all
Problem frequency: All the time
Problem description: I already configured the NAT Virtual Server TCP/UDP with static IP (Trust me cause my Utorrent works fine). Went to port-foward.com.

Listem port: 44714 (Detected by Limewire) - I even tried with the 50222 as configured in router. Dosent work.

Manual port forward: 50222 (I even tried with uPNP) and even Limewire original setting all all the combos, still dosent work.

My IP filter is off, and my router firewall is off.
Even i disable my firewall is still the same.

Weird thing if i use the neighbour wifi, it works. No setting!!!
Anybody have an idea?

Note: I treid using ZTE and Aztech, uTorrent runs far faster with ZTE. Why leh?

I have an notebook hardisk and my data drive is D, and my OS is C. Suddenly when I format the OS the Data drive become C (System), OS drive become D (Boot).

How can I force the drive especially D to become X and make my OS drice C: again.
Without deleting Data partition.

Torrent crash using Riger modem

I just got upgraded to ADSL2+ Riger modem, it is using connexant chipset i beleive.

Modem is runnging as gateway and dhcp to 3 machine.
Problem is every damn time i on my torrent, it hangs.
Even i off my firewall on the pc and disable my ip filter in my modem still the same.
I have get the NAT port range and in uTorrent my port test works.

It was fine running in ZTE modem with the same config.

please please help me out here guys.

Yes, wanna buy a new notebook but having problems due to limited options in Malaysia and limited budget. Im looking for 14.1>15.4 wide screen notebook with RM5800.

So far my problem is Im looking for Geforce Go 7600 and above. They only thing I can find is near to it is Acer 5594 which great running x1600 but I truely knows that 7600 is far far better for my gaming. Dell insipron 9400 running 7900 is too large for me and too expensive which need around 7000 to fork out.

So what other choice do I have? Need dual core 64bit proc (Amd and Intel also no problem). 100GB hardisk and above, 1GB RAM and X1600 or prefer 7600 and above.
Must have nice design and body. So any suggestion guys?

When is Thinkpad releasing Core Duo 2?

Hmm, I cant wait to jump back to Thinkpad wagon, but I'd prefer buying a dual core 64bit ready processor with X1400 and DVDRW-DL. Did contradict to wait and buy Acer Ferrari 5000 but I know I can only used Thinkpad.

Anybody knows when they are relasing their Dual Core 2 notebook, maybe someone who is working inside IBM or one of the distributor.

If yes could you give me some heads up information. Thanks.

As per last week, my windows acting funny. Every single damn time I on ma windows it will stated that windows has schedule with checkdisk, please press any key to escape.

I cant run win defrag on that partition d, and checkdisk in windows.
I notice that after started downloading some torrent thru azerus i start occuring the problem. I did have a solution its to backup all data delete my partition but some of my torrent is still downloading. I hate to back up all and delete the partition.
Is there is a way for me to disable the checkdisk. I went thru system profile and installed tweak ui but there is none.

Somebody who really knows please help me.
