Need recommendation for GC!

Hey guys!

I need to get a replacement GC due to my current GC spoiled (Thread).

I'm not a gamer and little bit of basic photoshop so I would like to find a med-low GC.

Here are the GC list that I don't know which one more suitable for me.

ATI 5670 1GB/512MB DDR5
ATI 5570 1GB DDR3/5

Nvidia GT430 1GB DDR3
Nvidia GT240 1GB/512MB DDR5
Nvidia GT220 1GB DDR3/5

Please recommend me the brand as well. Is Sapphire good?

Display vertical lines & Showing funny characters

I was using my PC very well then I was trying to install Windows 7. While it boot from DVD-ROM it's show red vertical lines and system hang. So I force shutdown and try turn on it's showing funny characters.

I tried to troubleshoot as below:-

- Reset bios and clear CMOS
- Unplug-plug VGA card
- Reseat RAMs
- Discharge power & cool down system
- Test monitor with notebook work fine
- Plug in the GC at other PC same issue

I suspect might be my VGA card not support Windows 7.

May I know if the VGA showing this problem is it possible to fix it myself or any contact of those shop fix VGA card?

AMD Athlon X2 6000+

Need some recommendation for casing and mainboard

I just need a pc that for me to online, downloading, movie and not much in game. So I don't plan to spend much for this system also.

This is what i plan to buy,

AM2 X2 5600+ = RM250
Gigabyte GA-MA78GM-S2H = RM315
Kingston 2GB DDR2 PC800 = RM75
Seagate 500GB 32MB SATA2 = RM185

My questions are :

1) Is this Gigabyte GA-MA78GM-S2H good for my specs ? Because the specs for this board is not bad even the build in VGA. I don't play high end game so i do not need a VGA card.

2) I need a Casing & PSU as well but i did plan to get the Cooler Master Elite 330 casing. Beside of that any recommend ? LoL

How to transfer recorded movie from ASTROMAX to PC

Right now i have an Astro Max. I also recorded a lot of movies and dramas but the capacity is only 60 hours.

So i want to know is it possible to transfer all the video to my pc ?

If yes what hardware should i need ?
