WINDOW 8.1 PROBLEM

Can someone help me?
After almost 2 years using Window 8/8.1, ayam givap oledi.

My laptop is lag like hell! like hell i told u.
Im just install basic application only. Most of the time use for browse internet and touch up photo using adobe photoshop CC.

I google & try oledi to set my laptop application, processes, etc to basic only. Format hdd etc, But still lag like shit!

Another problem is battery in not detected. If detected, not charging...shiat!

i7-3632QM @ 2.20ghz
4gb ram (3.86 usable)
1tb HDD 5400rpm @ 8mb
Window 8.1 single language
McAffee antivirus
64 bit operating system

Ayam just notice, everytime lag usually when my hdd utilization is 100%.

So ayam will considering 2 option here
a) Downgrade to window 7 (dowan upgrade window 10 due to *ehem* issue)
b) Change new hdd with 16mb cache?

Thanks for reading. From window 98 till window 8 I experience before, this window 8 is most shitty product from microsoft.

PERFORMANCE
To determine its performance, we measured transfer speeds from the My Passport Ultra connected to an HP Z620 workstation and compared it to the previous generation model, Seagate Plus Slim, and Seagate Seven USB 3.0 portable drives.

When testing 2MB random transfer speeds, the My Passport Ultra boasted 73.9MB/s read and 73.3MB/s write with its predecessor scored 72.0MB/s for reads and 74.0MB/s for writes. As you can see, the newest generation maintained performance parity with the prior model. The Seagate Seven posted 73.03MB/s read and 62.4MB/s write, while the Seagate Backup Plus Slim measured read and write speeds at 58.7MB/s and 95.6MB/s, respectively.

a) Planning to deliver baby at government hospital
b) Pregnant with twin babies
c) Complication, need to do Cesarean
d) But premature baby, need ventilator to support the babies (oxygen needs)
e) Inadequacy of ventilator
f) Search all other hospital, failed to find available ventilator except at Prince Court Hospital
g) For the sake of babies life, no choice. Proceed at the that hospital
h) Medical bill....boom!
j) Need donation to pay the bill

Moral of the story:
a) Try to help by donate, etc.
b) Malaysia Boleh!

Salah seorang daripada ahli awal SusuIbu.com, Puan Kartini Waris (tini007, ahli sejak 2005/7/14) sedang menghadapi dugaan saat melahirkan bayi kembarnya baru-baru ini. Dugaan bermula pada 27hb Julai 2011, saat dimaklumkan beliau perlu menjalani pembedahan kecemasan kerana beliau menghadapi komplikasi dan pada ketika itu kandungannya hanya mencecah 28 minggu. Ketika itu beliau menerima rawatan di Hospital Putrajaya. Untuk menyambut kelahiran kedua-dua kembar pra-matang itu, mereka memerlukan dua ventilator untuk memastikan kembar tersebut mendapat sokongan kehidupan sebaik kelahiran. Walau bagaimanapun, disebabkan tiada kemudahan ventilator yang mencukupi di hospital tersebut pada ketika itu, carian fasiliti ventilator diperluaskan kesemua hospital kerajaan berhampiran, namun tidak berhasil. Dalam masa yang amat kritikal ini, Puan Kartini dan suami meneruskan pencarian ventilator di hospital swasta pula dan akhirnya menemui Hospital Prince Court.

Puan Kartini telah dipindahkan ke Hospital Prince Court pada hari yang sama, dan selamat melahirkan kedua-dua puteri kembarnya Aida dan Aishah. Walau bagaimanapun, perbelanjaan di hospital tersebut amat mahal dan berada di situ bukanlah kemahuan mereka tetapi atas dasar menyelamatkan nyawa kedua-dua bayi yang belum mengenal dunia . Menyedari keadaan ini, mereka telah berbincang dengan Pakar Neonatalogy di situ, Dr Anna Padma untuk memindahkan bayi-bayi ini ke hospital kerajaan secepat mungkin. Namun, disebabkan kesihatan bayi masih belum stabil, ianya tidak dapat dijalankan secepat mungkin. Ianya mengambil masa beberapa minggu serta masih perlu mencari hospital yang mempunyai kekosongan ventilator yang mencukupi.

Terkini, dimaklumkan pada 9 Ogos, 2011 kedua-dua bayi kembar Aida dan Aishah berjaya dipindahkan semula ke Hospital Putrajaya dan memulakan rawatan mereka di sana. Namun, sepanjang rawatan rapi di Hospital Prince Court selama 14 hari, perbelanjaan keseluruhannya mencecah hampir RM50,000.00.

Good day all!

Currently my gear was:-
a) Nikon D90
b) 18-105 kit lens
c) 50mm f1.8
d) external flash

Im planning to buy new lens. Purpose is to shoot some wedding event & mostly for portrait.

a) Option 1
Sell my kit lens, buy new 18-200mm VRII lens

b) Option 2
buy new 50-200mm

c) Option 3
buy new 70-300

Any other I missed? 35mm & 85mm prime is in my ignore list.

is there macro lens available to be portrait lens with zoom availability?

appreciate your advice...

p/s: my budget is around 3K.

Good day!

I like to share with all of you in regards of laptop bought by my brother at lowyat last saturday.
The purpose is only to share & contribute the story as reminder to all of you. No intentions to start racist thread so please, do not flame, vroom2 or whatever f**k you call it.

My brother on last saturday went to lowyat to find new laptop. Just simply survey from one shop to another until get approach by guy who said can help, guide & offer good laptop with good price.

Well, the story begins...
Spend almost two hours listening their explanation regarding technical part until he reveals the dirty tactic by other shop selling the laptop. He said, there is 3 set currently sell at lowyat. Original laptop, ap laptop & recon laptop.

Manipulative with the story of almost all seller who can sell with good discount & offer good free gift, probably selling a recon laptop. Recon laptop means their selling original laptop with some part was changed such battery, keyboard etc with cheaper (not original) hardware. So he promise can offer original part at all.
Influenced by the story and based on TRUST, my brother said, "please offer me laptop value for money..." he said VALUE FOR MONEY.

So the offer was Compaq CQ42-203AU, AMD P320 + ATi HD4250, freeDOS, and price??
RM 1950 cash (with only RM 100 profit for him-kononnya).....and no free gift at all except pirate win7 & pirate software installed by them.

so guys, do you think its really value for money huh??

with that price, he can get better specification - Compaq CQ42-309AX, AMD P840 + ATi HD5470 with Win7 64bit original part at all

Really frustrated. Really! Especially from the guy who claimed the only bumiputera shop which can help other bumi's. Feel like the shop try to push out old stock but with such price? Huh….

Haih....moral of story, do some good survey & comparison, ask people around and dont ever based on TRUST.

Good Day!

I'm planning to buy net laptop soon. In my mind, only compaq brand and budget around 2K

Previously, I using compaq evo 610c. I will say, it superb in term of reliability.
I using for almost 8 years with no problem at all.

Currently, there is only 2 choice:-
a) Compaq CQ42-268TX, i3 350M + ATi HD5450, freeDOS@RM1949
b) Compaq CQ42-269TX, i3 350M + ATi HD5450@RM2199

the differ is only one comes with original W7 operating system & another is none.

So, I appreciated any feedback from you, either:-
a) you have an experience using this brand (good or worse)
b) Is it advisable I using 'P" version for W7 (just cannot update online rite?)
c) Any other advice is appreciated

And please try not recommend any other brand, cause Im looking for compaq only.

MP3: Unknown Format

The story is:
All music kept on harddrive, suddenly power failure, HD got corrupted, but got most data recovered,

The problem is:
In Windows Media Player, the error message I get when I try to play the files: Windows Media Player encountered an unknown error.

In winamp. It can be upload in the list, but can't play at all..

try to scan with mp3val software. It identify the problem is unkown format. But I don't understand how they can be 'unknown' when each file claims to be an mp3 file.

Try to repair it but failed. Same goes with 'MP3 Repair Tool' software..

Is there anything at all I can do to get the music back to normal, and get it playing?
